Agricultural products are the material materials for human survival.As an important channel of agricultural products sales,the competitiveness of agricultural products market can fully reflect the value of production,processing,marketing,circulation and creativity of agricultural products.Because of different geographical resources,there are regional differences in agricultural products markets.Although Hunan is a big agricultural province,there are some problems in the construction of agricultural products market,such as insufficient infrastructure and investment in science and technology.Promoting the development of agricultural products market is imminent to optimize the structure of agricultural products.The research on the development of agricultural products market at home and abroad mainly focuses on the cost price and international competitiveness of agricultural products,few scholars study the competitiveness of domestic regional agricultural products market.In the aspect of empirical research,the competitiveness of agricultural products market is more than that of agricultural products market,and the results are different.Based on the comparative advantage theory,regional difference theory and other related theories,this paper makes an in-depth study of the current situation of the development of agricultural products market in Hunan Province,evaluates the competitiveness of agricultural products market in Hunan Province and its 14 cities and prefectures,and determines the ninth position of the agricultural products market in China by score ranking.In addition,the competitiveness of the agricultural products market in Hunan Province will be determined by the scores that divided into three categories from high to low,the comparing and analyzing the competitiveness of each category of agricultural products market.Finally,the influencing factors of competitiveness are analyzed.The results show that:(1)In the evaluation of the competitiveness of Hunan agricultural products market,it is found that the competitiveness of Hunan agricultural products market is generally increasing except in 2008.Hunan is located in the ninth place in the country,which is in line with the title of a major agricultural province.(2)In addition,according to the competitiveness scores of 14 cities and prefectures under its jurisdiction,it is divided into three categories.The mostcompetitive areas of agricultural products in the market are areas with strong economic development and agricultural foundation.(3)Empirical analysis of the influencing factors of the differences in market competitiveness of agricultural products shows that the four indicators of agriculture as a proportion of GDP,effective cultivated land area,fixed investment in agricultural products and sales scale of agricultural products are positively correlated with the market competitiveness of agricultural products in Hunan Province,and the correlation coefficient of the sales scale of agricultural products is the largest.The level of informationization is negatively correlated with the regional differences of agricultural products market in Hunan Province,and the impact of various factors on various regions is different.Based on the previous analysis,some suggestions are put forward,such as increasing industrial integration,investment in science and technology,building superior agricultural products market,opening up characteristic agricultural products market and strengthening regional linkage.
