Research On Factors Influencing Export Trade Of Agricultural Products In Hebei Province

With the continuous development of economic globalization,agricultural products of every country have become more and more integrated into the international market competition and the scale of international agricultural trade has been expanding.Since China joined world trade organization,China's export trade of agricultural products has been growing rapidly and the status and the influence in the world agricultural trade have been improved constantly.But the export trade of agricultural products among the domestic provinces is unbalanced.The agricultural products trade of Hebei province has a long history and there are many kinds of export agricultural products with traditional advantages.Since the third Plenary Session of the 11 th CPC Central Committee,the export trade of agricultural products in Hebei province has made great progress,but it accounts for a smaller proportion of the country's agricultural exports and there is still a big gap compared with Shandong Province.Analyzing deeply the influencing factors in the course of export trade development of agricultural products in Hebei province is of great importance to promote sustained and healthy development of export trade of agricultural products in Hebei province.At the same time,it can provide the beneficial references for making related trade policy and for the agricultural products export enterprises to improve their trade behaviors and change their modes of operation.This paper uses the methods of combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis and combining normative analysis and empirical analysis to study on the factors influencing export trade of agricultural products in Hebei province through the following three parts.The first part puts forward the problem and carries on the theoretical analysis.Based on the actual situation of export trade of agricultural products of Hebei Province and the relevant literatures sorted out,it puts forward the problem and carries on the theoretical analysis.The second part carries on the empirical analysis to the problem.On the basis of the analysis on the current situation of export trade development of agricultural products in Hebei province,firstly this paper uses CMS model to carry on overall analysis of the factors influencing export trade of agricultural products in Hebei province.Secondly it analyzes the decomposed factors,including using the index analysis method to measure the commodity structure and market structure of agricultural products export in Hebei province,using the analysis framework of Cobb-Douglas production function to analyze the factors influencing the commodity structure upgrade of agricultural products export,using gravity model to analyze the factors influencing market structure of agricultural products export and export market potential,using the index analysis method to measure and compare the export competitiveness of agricultural products in Hebei province and then analyzing its influencing factors with the aid of diamond model.Thirdly,it analyzes the factors influencing the export trade of agricultural products in Hebei province from the enterprise micro-level.The third part puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problem.In view of the above analysis,it puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions as optimize the export promotion system of agricultural products and strengthen the policy support,optimize the export trade structure of agricultural products and expand the export scale of agricultural products,optimize the structure of agriculture industry and products and improve the export competitiveness of agricultural products,accelerate the " going out" step and expand the development space of agricultural products export.The main conclusions of the study are as follows.Firstly,the export benefit level of agricultural products in Hebei province shows wavelike decrease changes and those of eleven cities in Hebei province are very different.The overall coordination degree of export benefit of agricultural products in Hebei province changes in volatility.Although each year is in the coordination state during the study period,but the coordination grade is various.Secondly,the import scale and structure of agricultural products of world target markets and the export competitiveness of agricultural products in Hebei province become the main factors of agricultural exports growth in Hebei province respectively but the promoting function of the exports structure change of agricultural products in Hebei province to the growth of agricultural exports is limited.The compatibility between the market structure of the agricultural exports and the markets where the world's import demand for agricultural products has grown rapidly is on the increase,which promotes the growth of agricultural exports.Thirdly,the structure of export agricultural products in Hebei province wholely tends to be optimized and well matches with the structure of import agricultural products in the world.The overall export added value of agricultural product increases constantly,is positively related to the number of skilled workers with higher educational level and is negatively related to using foreign investment in agriculture and the basic construction investment of agriculture,forestry and animal husbandry.The export markets of agricultural products in Hebei province are still relatively concentrated,but the export market structure tends to be optimized.The export markets of agricultural products better match with imports market of agricultural products in the world.The agricultural products export in Hebei province is positively related to the agricultural GDP of Hebei province,GDP of importing country,GDP per capita of importing country and whether the importing country is the member of APEC.The agricultural products export in Hebei province is negatively related to the distance between Hebei province and importing country.Fourthly,influenced by cost,price and quality of agricultural products in Hebei province and environmental factors,the export competitiveness of agricultural products in Hebei province is weaker and the export competitiveness distribution of eleven cities is unbalanced.Fifthly,Whether enterprises have research and development department,enterprise financing and technical barriers to trade have positive influence on the export growth of agricultural product of the enterprises.The rise in raw material costs and labor costs,the international environment and the fluctuation of RMB exchange rate have negative influence on the export growth of agricultural product of the enterprises.The main innovation of this paper is as follows.Firstly,based on the perspective of sustainable development,this paper constructs regional index evaluation system to evaluate and compare the the export benefit level of agricultural products in Hebei province vertically and horizontally from economic benefit,social benefit and ecological benefit.Secondly,this paper constructs a trade gravity model and makes an empirical analysis on the influencing factors of agricultural products export flow and direction in Hebei province.On this basis,it evaluates and predicts the market potential of agricultural products export in Hebei Province by comparing the potential export value under the theoretical state simulated by the established trade gravity model with the actual export value.Thirdly,in the past,the domestic research on agricultural products trade was mostly carried out from macro-level and medium-level,but less from the perspective of micro enterprises.This paper uses macro-level,medium-level and micro-level data to analyze the factors influencing export trade of agricultural products in HeBei province.In particular,this paper uses logit model and selects export cases of different types of medicinal materials and Chinese patent medicine export enterprises to analyze the factors influencing the export trade of agricultural products from the enterprise micro-level based on the full investigation.
