Under the conditions of market opening, the market competitiveness of agricultural products of agriculture to promote the sustainable and steady development has very important significance, Hunan as a major agricultural province should be seize the current strategic adjustment of agricultural structure and the state attaches great importance to the work related to agriculture, rural areas and farmers the opportunity, give full play advantage, to further enhance the market competitiveness of agricultural products, increase market share, increase the income of the farmers.This paper consists of five parts, the first part of an overview of the theory of domestic and foreign markets for agricultural products competitive research conditions and competitive markets for agricultural products. The second part of the region from the location and traffic conditions, classification of four varieties of agricultural products, agricultural science and technology, brand advantage Hunan agricultural products, agricultural products introduced in Hunan Province before. The third part is the market competitiveness of agricultural products in Hunan Province SWOT analysis, found that the presence of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The fourth part of Hunan Province, grain, livestock, oilseeds, fruits, aquatic products and other major agricultural products situation analysis, comprehensive evaluation and analysis.
