Research On The Relationship Between Supply Chain Visibility,Supply Chain Integration And Enterprise Performance

The supply chain visibility provides a clear context for the development of enterprises,which is the foundation for enterprises to stand on the market,and is crucial to the survival and development of enterprises.At present,the research on supply chain visibility is still in the exploratory stage.Most of the existing researches are about the direct impact mechanism of supply chain visibility and enterprise performance,with the focus on the impact of supply chain visibility on enterprise performance.A large number of research results show that supply chain visibility can positively affect enterprise performance.However,today's customers are paying more and more attention to product personalization,and their demands for distinctive and unconventional products are changing rapidly.Enterprises want to make a breakthrough,break through and succeed in the complex market environment by virtue of their own strength,instead of simply relying on the visibility of the supply chain to give play to the advantages of the supply chain.Supply chain visibility can only create a transparent chain mode.In order to realize the mechanism of supply chain responding to market demand changes,enterprises must seek solidarity and cooperation with upstream and downstream enterprises,and rely on the ability of supply chain integration to coordinate operation problems.This paper argues that enterprises implementing supply chain visibility should not only think that simple information exchange can improve enterprise performance,but also pay attention to the follow-up situation of enterprise development after information exchange.How to carry out internal coordination and external cooperation in the follow-up is the key to achieve maximum benefits.Therefore,this paper constructs the relationship model between supply chain visibility,supply chain integration and enterprise performance.In this study,the supply chain visibility is divided from two dimensions of demand visibility and supply visibility,and the supply chain integration is divided from two aspects of internal integration and external integration.This paper collects 205 questionnaire data of Chinese manufacturing enterprises and makes a detailed discussion on the influence mechanism of the relationship between demand visibility,supply visibility and enterprise performance by means of structural equation model.The empirical results show that:(1)demand visibility and supply visibility have no significant influence on enterpriseperformance.(2)demand visibility and supply visibility have a significant positive impact on the internal and external integration of the supply chain.(3)internal and external integration of the supply chain has a significant positive impact on enterprise performance.(4)the internal integration of the supply chain plays a completely mediating role in the demand visibility,supply visibility and enterprise performance;The external integration of supply chain also plays a complete mediating role between demand visibility,supply visibility and enterprise performance.Different from previous studies on the direct effect of supply chain visibility on enterprise performance,this paper introduces supply chain integration as an intermediary variable to discuss the influence paths among supply chain visibility,supply chain integration and enterprise performance.The conclusion of this paper develops scholars' cognition of the relationship between supply chain visibility and enterprise performance,and determines the mediating role of supply chain integration in the relationship between supply chain visibility and enterprise performance.It is of great value to help enterprises maintain their own competitive advantages in the fierce business competition environment.
