Research On Aggregation Characteristics And Influencing Factors Of China's High-tech Service Industry

With economic development and scientific and technological progress,vigorously developing high-tech service industry has become an important means for countries around the world to realize economic transformation and industrial upgrading.Especially under the background of the rapid development of digital economy,accelerating the development of high-tech service industry is of great significance to promoting the development of service industry in various countries,improving the economic development level of various countries and even the level of international competitiveness.Based on this,in order to further promote the development of China's high-tech service industry,this paper analyzes the national high-tech service industry from two aspects of aggregation characteristics and aggregation influencing factors.Moreover,considering that most of the research documents on the national high-tech service industry agglomeration at the present stage are analyzed from the provincial level,and the scope of investigation is too broad,this paper selects prefecture-level cities and above as the research objects.Firstly,this paper analyzes the connotation of high-tech service industry,and defines the concept of high-tech service industry by combing the relevant literature at home and abroad.Secondly,according to "High-tech Industry(Service Industry)Classification(2018)" and comparing with "National Economic Industry Classification" in 2002 and 2017,the scope of research on high-tech service industry in this paper is defined.On this basis,this paper uses the economic census data of 2004,2008 and 2013 to study the development status of high-tech service industry in China from three aspects of total assets,operating income and employees,and uses three measurement methods of spatial Gini coefficient,regional average concentration rate and geographical connection rate to study the agglomeration level of high-tech service industry in 285 cities at prefecture level and above in China from 2007 to 2016.Finally,considering the availability and integrity of the data,this paper sets out from the level of human capital and information technology and other six major factors,aiming at the panel data of 276 prefecture-level cities and above in China from 2007 to 2016,and constructs an individual fixed effect model from the national and regional perspectives,to study the factors affecting the agglomeration of high-tech services in China and the three major economic zones of the east,middle and west.The results show that during the three economic censuses,the total assets,operating income and number of employees in China's high-tech service industry are on the rise,and the total assets and the proportion of operating income in the two major sub-industries tend to be balanced,while the proportion of employees has developed from the beginning of information transmission,computer service and software industry higher than that of scientific research,technical service and geological exploration to the former lower than that of the latter.As far as the aggregation characteristics of high-tech service industry are concerned,the aggregation degree of information transmission,computer service and software industry in 285 prefecture-level cities and above throughout the country from 2007 to 2016 is always higher than that of scientific research,technical service and geological exploration.However,the variation trend of the aggregation degree of the two industries is roughly the same,both rising first and then falling and then rising.In the past 10 years,China's high-tech service industry has gradually gathered in the eastern and western economic zones,especially in the regional central cities(Nanjing,Xi'an,Chengdu),the capital cities in the economically developed eastern regions(Guangzhou,Hangzhou)and the coastal open cities(Shanghai,Shenzhen);In terms of influencing factors of aggregation characteristics,at the national level,the influencing factors of aggregation characteristics of high-tech service industry according to the degree of influence from high to low are: urbanization level,manufacturing agglomeration and informatization level.At the level of the three major economic zones,there are certain differences in the factors that affect the aggregation characteristics of high-tech service industry.Among them,the factors that affect the aggregation characteristics of high-tech service industry in the eastern economic zone according to the degree of influence from high to low are: urbanization level,manufacturing agglomeration and human capital level.However,the factors that affect the aggregation characteristics of high-tech service industry in the economic belt of the central and western regions according to the degree of influence from high to low are: urbanization level,manufacturing agglomeration and informatization level.According to the above research conclusion,in order to speed up the agglomeration development of China's high-tech service industry,this paper puts forward the following four suggestions: Increase the intensity of urbanization construction and improve the level of urbanization development;Optimize the industrial structure and promote the coordinated development of industries;Increase investment in information technology research and development and continue to promote information construction;Strengthen the construction of gathering areas and strengthen the surrounding radiation effect.
