| Industrial agglomeration is an economic phenomenon that appears in the process of industrial development.In essence,it refers to the concentration of a certain industry on geographical scope.Along with the formation of industrial agglomeration,the factors of production also concentrate on the same area.As a big manufacturing province,manufacturing industry has always occupied an important position in Jiangsu's industrial structure.In 2016,the total output value of manufacturing in Jiangsu accounted for 96.38% of the total industrial output value,contributing over 50% to the GDP of Jiangsu Province.Manufacturing concentration greatly improves the quality of economic growth in Jiangsu.At the same time,manufacturing industries in the world are undergoing tremendous changes in recent years.Smart manufacturing and advanced manufacturing systems have become the direction for the development of manufacturing industries in the world.Jiangsu should conform to the trend of manufacturing industries development,and seek to upgrade the manufacturing industry so as to overtake at the turn.In this process,cultivating industrial clusters and promoting industrial agglomeration has an important strategic significance.Therefore,this article has important practical significance for the study of industrial agglomeration.The first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly analyzes the background and significance of the topic selection,as well as the domestic and international research on the status of industrial agglomeration,and sorts out related theories of industrial agglomeration.The second chapter is an empirical analysis of the development history and current situation of Jiangsu manufacturing industry.The third chapter is the measurement of the industrial agglomeration in Jiangsu manufacturing industry,which USES the location entropy and spatial gini coefficient respectively to measure the industrial agglomeration of Jiangsu manufacturing industry and carry out a simple descriptive analysis.The fourth chapter is an empirical analysis of the factors that influence the industrial agglomeration of manufacturing industry in Jiangsu,and the influence of industrial characteristics and regional characteristics on the industrial agglomeration of the manufacturing industry.In addition,it introduces the intersection of industrial characteristics and regional characteristics,and analyzes the driving effect of factors on manufacturing industry agglomeration.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and policy suggestions,which mainly elaborates the results of the empirical analysis of this paper and puts forward relevant policy suggestions on the basis of the empirical analysis.According to the research results,we can find that the manufacturing concentration degree of the traditional manufacturing industry in Jiangsu province is relatively stable,such as Nanjing,Suzhou,Wuxi,Changzhou,Xuzhou and so on.However,the industrial base of Suqian and Yancheng is relatively weak,and the manufacturing concentration is low.In addition,more cities have agglomeration advantages of industry in the south of Jiangsu for computers,communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing,automobile manufacturing and other technical higher density of industry.Finally,through the regression analysis found that industry features and regional features and has different effect on manufacturing agglomeration,scale economy,high degree of export-oriented degree is high,the industrial protected manufacturing agglomeration more easily,while labor demand larger industries tend to be scattered.On the basis of empirical analysis,this paper puts forward the policy suggestions to promote the Jiangsu manufacturing industry agglomeration degrees: first,reasonably adjust industrial layout and industrial agglomeration policy;second,promote technology innovation ability,speed up the upgrading of industrial structure of Jiangsu province;third,we will adopt appropriate preferential policies to accelerate the transfer of industrial areas. |
