With the rapid development of China’s economy,the internal and external operating environment of China’s commercial banks is also changing,the external competitive environment is under great pressure,and the internal management model needs to be improved.In order to seek their own long-term development and get the first chance in the fierce market competition environment,banks must timely build and innovate their own development strategies.Therefore,the choice and implementation of the business strategy of commercial banks has become an urgent issue to be studied and solved.It not only has extremely important theoretical reference value,but also can provide some effective reference for the transformation of commercial banks at this stage.In this paper,Yancheng branch of Bank of China is selected as the research object to make the overall planning of the bank’s business strategy.Firstly,it analyzes the current research situation of the development and transformation of commercial banks at home and abroad;secondly,it analyzes the characteristics of the strategic transformation of commercial banks,the types and characteristics of the strategic management of commercial banks and the strategic management steps of commercial banks;secondly,in order to identify the realistic basis of the development of Yancheng branch,it analyzes the political and legal environment,economic environment,regional environment and scientific and technological environment This paper analyzes the external environment of Yancheng branch from four aspects,and then analyzes the internal conditions of Yancheng branch from four aspects: internal resources,product structure,marketing ability and market economic benefits;and then analyzes the SWOT of Yancheng branch,discusses the advantages and disadvantages of its internal conditions,opportunities and threats of the external environment,and points out that its internal conditions are in advantages The situation that the opportunity is greater than the disadvantage and the external environment is greater than the threat also puts forward that Yancheng branch should adopt the overall business strategy of concentric diversification and the competitivestrategy of market segmentation and concentration.Finally,the implementation of Yancheng branch’s business strategy puts forward to improve the construction of organizational structure,create advanced corporate culture,strengthen the information construction based on technology leadership,and attach importance to human resources Specific suggestions for the construction of resources.
