Research On The Impact Of China’s Outward Foreign Direct Investment And Industrial Structure Upgrading On Green Economic Efficiency

Under the background of the new era,facing the increasingly prominent economic growth dilemma and increasingly severe environmental problems,adhering to green development is not only a summary of the painful lessons of China’s previous economic construction,but also a practical demand to maintain the sustainable development of China’s economy.With the continuous promotion of "the Belt and Road" initiative,China’s OFDI is facing new opportunities for development.Meanwhile,OFDI also creates conditions for optimizing China’s industrial structure.How to effectively grasp the development opportunity of OFDI and industrial structure upgrading in order to promote the development of green economy in China is a topic worth further discussion.Firstly,based on the analysis of the development trend and spatial correlation characteristics of China’s OFDI,industrial structure upgrading.and green economic efficiency,this paper further sorts out the transmission mechanism of OFDI affecting green economic efficiency from the perspective of industrial structure upgrading.Secondly,taking the data of 30 provinces in China from 2006 to 2017 as samples,the spatial durbin model was constructed to investigate the spatial spillover effect of OFDI and industrial structure upgrading on the efficiency of green economy,at the same time,the intermediary effect model is combined to verify the intermediate role of industrial structure upgrading.The results show:OFDI,industrial industrial structure rationalization and industrial structure supererogation have significantly promoted the improvement of China’s green economic efficiency,and OFDI has a positive spatial spillover effect on the green economy efficiency of surrounding provinces through the radiation of knowledge and technology,due to the impact of pollution industry crowding out and the "siphon effect",industrial structure rationalization and industrial structure supererogation have a negative spatial spillover effect on green economic efficiency.In addition,industrial structure rationalization and industrial structure supererogation have played an important mediating role in the process of promoting the green economic efficiency by OFDI,and the intermediary role of industrial structure rationalization is greater.Finally,according to the conclusion of this study,and combined with China’s national conditions,in order to achieve the goal of green development in China,the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for the expansion of OFDI and the adjustment of industrial structure.
