| In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s economy,the role of innovation in economic growth has become increasingly important,but the development of innovation capabilities in various regions is uneven.Although the technological innovation capabilities of various regions have improved rapidly,economic growth is still decelerating.From a theoretical and practical point of view,innovation plays a pivotal role in economic development,and innovation is closely related to the upgrading of the industrial structure.Therefore,it can be considered that the slowdown of economic growth in most parts of China is largely due to the lack of regional independent innovation capabilities and the inability of regional independent innovation capabilities to meet the needs of industrial structure upgrading.What impact does technological innovation have on economic development? Does the upgrading of industrial structure play a regulatory role in the process of technological innovation promoting economic growth?Guided by the regional economic growth theory,innovation theory and industrial structure upgrading theory,this paper comprehensively applies regional economics,econometrics and other related discipline theories from the perspective of spatial interaction,and takes the threshold effect regression method and the spatial effect analysis method as the The research method explores the existence and effect of the threshold effect and regulatory effect of industrial structure upgrading in 30 provinces(excluding Tibet)in the country from 2011 to 2019 in the process of technological innovation promoting economic growth,and proposes relevant policies based on the empirical results.suggestion.First,the paper sorts out and summarizes the relevant literature on the relationship between technological innovation,industrial structure upgrading and economic growth,so as to understand the status quo and current progress in related fields.Secondly,it defines the technological innovation and industrial structure upgrading used in this paper.At the same time,it discusses the related theories and interaction mechanisms of technological innovation,industrial structure upgrading and economic growth,which lays the groundwork for empirical analysis.The panel threshold effect in the process of growth is empirically analyzed,and a series of robustness tests are carried out on the empirical results.Thirdly,the country is divided into four regional samples,namely the eastern,central,western and northeastern China,and the threshold effect test of industrial structure upgrading is carried out for the four regions respectively,and the model analysis is carried out for the regions with the threshold effect.Through comparative analysis,preliminary conclusions are drawn.Fourthly,using the spatial Durbin model to explore the moderating effect of industrial structure upgrading in the process of technological innovation promoting economic growth.First,the spatial and temporal evolution of economic growth,technological innovation and industrial structure upgrading in various provinces in the country is visualized and analyzed by using the method of GIS spatial visualization.Then,the direct effect,indirect effect and total effect of technological innovation are analyzed through the spatial Durbin model,and then the spatial spillover effect of technological innovation and the adjustment effect of industrial structure upgrading are studied.Then,empirical tests are carried out on three regional samples in the eastern,central and western China respectively,and finally the test results of the moderating effect are compared,and preliminary conclusions are drawn.Fifthly,conduct research summaries and make policy recommendations.The results show that industrial structure upgrading plays an important role in the process of technological innovation in promoting economic growth.With the upgrading of industrial institutions,the role of technological innovation in promoting economic growth is gradually enhanced.First,industrial structure upgrading has a significant threshold effect in the process of technological innovation in promoting economic growth.On the whole,technological innovation is playing an increasing role in China’s economic development.Under the low level of China’s industrial structure,the driving force of technological innovation is relatively weak,and in the process of industrial structure upgrading,the role of technological innovation in promoting economic growth is gradually enhanced.In the central China,with the continuous upgrading of the industrial structure,the role of technological innovation in promoting economic growth is gradually enhanced.In northeast China,technological innovation promotes the shape of China’s economic development.Second,technological innovation plays a significant role in promoting economic growth,and industrial structure upgrading plays an important regulating role in the process of promoting economic growth by technological innovation.In the country,the direct and indirect effects of technological innovation are enhanced by the addition of industrial structure upgrading,which suppresses the economic growth in the neighboring region,and the direct and indirect effects in the eastern and central China,which not only promote the local economic growth but also produces spillover effects,thus enhancing the growth of technological innovation. |
