| Located in the south of the mainland,Guangxi is an important window for China’s opening up.Its green development is not only related to its own development sustainability,but also directly related to China’s external image.At the same time,China has clearly put forward the strategic deployment of accelerating the reform of the ecological civilization system,promoting green development and building a beautiful China.However,there are still problems such as unbalanced regional economic development and ecological environment pollution in Guangxi.As an important means to measure the level of economic development and ecological protection,green development efficiency can effectively evaluate the degree of green development in Guangxi.Therefore,through scientific measurement of green development efficiency in Guangxi,this paper comprehensively understands the spatial pattern of green development efficiency in Guangxi,and deeply discusses the key influencing factors of green development efficiency in Guangxi,providing referential suggestions for Guangxi to improve green development efficiency and coordinate green development.This paper first describes the connotation of green development efficiency,and then mainly expounds its related theoretical basis from the environmental Kuznets curve theory,ecological economy theory and sustainable development theory.Once again,it reflects the overall green development status of Guangxi from the perspective of economic and social development and ecological environment development.The study found that the economic development in Guangxi has been steadily rising.While optimizing the industrial structure,there are still "high energy consumption and low efficiency" problems.From the analysis of input variables,expected output and unexpected output,it is believed that the development differences among cities in Guangxi are large,and the development between regions is unbalanced.In order to deeply study the specific green development efficiency values of 14 cities in Guangxi,the super efficiency SBM model is first used to measure the efficiency level of green development in Guangxi and analyze the spatial characteristics of green development efficiency by considering input from the perspective of human resources,energy and capital,and output from the perspective of economy and environment.It is found from the calculation results that the green development efficiency of Guangxi has shown an overall upward trend from 2012 to 2020,but the overall level is low.Most cities in Guangxi still have a large space to improve their green development efficiency and there is a certain gap from the efficiency frontier.From the research on the spatial characteristics of green development efficiency in Guangxi,it is found that the spatial evolution from 2012 to 2020 is characterized by "gradually increasing from the west to the southeast periphery",Uneven spatial distribution,There is spatial autocorrelation and agglomeration characteristics of green development efficiency among cities.In some areas,there is a phenomenon of "beggar thy neighbor".At the same time,it can be found that the phenomenon of "polarization" within the region has eased.Then,the spatial econometric model of the influencing factors of green development efficiency is established from six aspects,namely,the level of economic development,environmental regulation,industrial structure,technological innovation,opening up and urbanization.The research finds that the level of economic development provides security for green development,industrial structure and technological innovation play a role in promoting green development efficiency,and opening up and urbanization hinder green development.Finally,it provides suggestions for improving the efficiency of green development in Guangxi from six aspects:Guangxi actively integrates into the new pattern of economic development,implementing scientific and environmental policies,transforming and upgrading the industrial structure,increasing investment in scientific research and technology,implementing high-level opening up and improving the layout of urbanization. |
