Gas station not only provides oil products,but also non-oil services.Non oil business is of great significance for energy enterprises to provide convenient consumption for end customers,to expand domestic demand,to increase the amount of employment and to increase the comprehensive utilization of infrastructure.This paper takes ZH company as an example to collect sales data and category management data belonging to different types of oil station convenience stores in different provinces of ZH company.Through the analysis of eight gas stations in the different data dimensions,such as sales data,price band distribution and quantity of goods in the fourth quarter of 2017,the distribution rules of commodity purchase,commodity sale price belt and category structure in different provinces and different types of oil station convenience stores are found,at the same time,the problems in commodity category management,such as procurement,sales and storage of commodities management,pricing management,and commodity introduction management are found.In the current energy industry,full and good use of gas station category management is very important for the company to occupy the retail terminal market and expand the market share.Therefore,through PEST analysis,from large data,the situation of the company's own development stage and market environment,this paper analyzes the following problems.1.the lack of targeted store management.Different types of geographical location,different types of oil station management patterns are not distinct;2.the introduction of new products is lack of scientific basis;3.the rate of commodity elimination is low;4.the company is not concerned about the circulation of commodities;5.the category structure planning has not received enough attention;6.the information technology management is backward.Aiming at the practical problems,this paper proposes solutions for category management.On the basis of the basic theory of comprehensive category management and the research results of retail management,combined with the results of this paper,four management promotion schemes are proposed,such as system optimization,information technology and Internet introduction,customer relationship management,and supplier management,so as to make ZH company operate management level and management at the gas station convenience store.Efficiency and profitability can be improved and breakthroughs.
