| Recently,China’s economy has entered into a new state of structural deceleration.The development of society is facing increasing challenges from domestic and foreign.New-type urbanization and science-technology innovation strategy have been proposed by the government to deal with those challenges and resolve the contradictions.The new-type urbanization adheres to the principle of people-oriented and pursues the harmonious of economy,society and environment.Change from factor-driven to innovation-driven,whose core is science-technology innovation,has become one of the significant characteristics of new-type urbanization while the development of science-technology innovation needs the supports of capital,talents and other factors in city.Thus,there is an intricate interrelationship between them.The competitiveness of regions would be enhanced through the coordinated development between the science-technology innovation supported by the factors of urbanization and the urbanization sustained by vitality of science-technology innovation.Therefore,research on the coupling and coordinated development between the new-type urbanization and science-technology innovation has great meaning in both theory and reality.In this thesis,research has been done through the aspects as follow: First,the concept of new-type urbanization and science-technology innovation and their coupling and coordination are identified through literature analysis.Second,the evaluation model of calculating coupling coordination degree has been established basing on the evaluation index system and comprehensive evaluation model.Third,the coupling and coordination degree between new-type urbanization and science-technologyl innovation in 30 provinces of China has been empirically calculated with the spatial-temporal analysis.Finally,the author divides 30 provinces into different types and proposes different measures and suggestions.The main conclusions of this study are as follows: 1)although the level of new-type urbanization and science-technology innovation of all provinces in China are improving steadily,the development between provinces is extremely uneven.The performance of the eastern coastal areas is always far ahead,such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and Bohai rim.2)Viewing from the general coupling coordination degree between new-type urbanization and science-technology innovation,China has been widely plunged into the uncoordinated state while the eastern region has stepped into state of coordination during the years of 2005 to 2016.3)from the perspective of each province,the coupling coordination degree of mosf procince is in the state of uncoordination.Beijing,Shanghai and Jiangsu have achieved advanced coordination.Guangdong,Tanjin and Zhejiang are always in the basic coordination.Chongqing is the only region achieved basic coordination in the western region.4)the coupling and coordinated development of provinces shows obvious characteristics of spatial agglomeration,most provinces are in the low-low agglomeration region,high-high agglomeration type provinces are still concentrated in the eastern coastal areas.5)according to the new-type urbanization’s level,science-innovation’s level and the coupling coordination degree,China’s 30 provinces can be divided into 5 different types.Different measures should be taken to promote regional competitiveness and sustainable development level. |
