Since the beginning of the 21 st century,as daily life has become more and more convenient,express delivery has become a part of people’s daily life.The express delivery industry has become increasingly popular and competition has intensified.Many private express delivery companies have relied on the advantages of the franchise model to rapidly expand.However,the drawbacks of the franchise model have gradually emerged,making it difficult for express delivery companies to gain an advantage in the competition.More and more express delivery companies realize that the transformation of the franchise model is imperative,and they have accelerated the pace of direct operation,but these express delivery companies can not achieve It is completely direct,Basically,the direct operation of the operation center is as far as possible,and the express terminal outlets are still franchise-oriented,but the management of these outlets has not kept up with the development of the enterprise,which will inevitably affect the implementation of the enterprise strategy.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a performance evaluation system to manage the franchisees of these terminal points.On the other hand,with the continuous increase in the business volume and business income of the express delivery industry,franchisees at the terminal outlets of express delivery have not been able to obtain much real benefits.Many outlets have suffered losses or even closed down,which will also affect the reputation of the headquarters of express delivery companies.Have a certain impact,It is also not conducive to the end of the headquarters to enable and accelerate enterprise development.Through literature review,this paper summarizes the historical evolution of performance evaluation,elaborates that the express industry is developing rapidly nowadays,but the rising time is relatively short,the related theory is out of touch with the actual development of the express industry,and scholars pay insufficient attention to the research of express franchisers.Taking Z express company as an example,this paper analyses the current situation of performance evaluation,and points out the existing problems,such as single performance index,simple.With penalty instead of management,it is proposed that a more comprehensive and reasonable performance evaluation system of balanced scorecard should be constructed,the content of indicators should be improved,the standard values should be assigned,the weight and weight of indicators should be determined by questionnaire survey method,and the performance evaluation system score control table of Z express company balanced scorecard should be designed.Four dimensions and the overall performance score can be obtained respectively,and the performance evaluation system score control table should be based on the performance evaluation system score control table.Then,it puts forward the safeguard measures for the implementation of performance evaluation.Finally,it summarizes and prospects that in the current environment,the traditional performance evaluation methods need to be reformed.When applying the balanced scorecard,we should design a performance evaluation system that is in line with the specific situation of express companies.
