With the development and progress of economy and society,modern logistics shows the trend of information,automation,intelligence,integration,system networking and integration.In order to meet the needs of development,3PW(Thind-party Warehousing)enterprises have been upgraded from traditional warehousing enterprises to modern warehouses.K company is a warehouse logistics enterprise transformed from traditional warehouse.It mainly stores warehousing and warehouse leasing business,supplemented by transportation agency and express agency business.In the increasingly fierce market competition,K company warehouse operation efficiency is low,the storage area of unreasonable use,the integrated storage mismanagement problems gradually reflected,not only affects the operation efficiency and economic benefit of the company,but also reduces the customer satisfaction.In the face of the ever-changing competition of 3PW,the warehouse optimization of the company has become very urgent.In this paper,the warehouse of K company is taken as the research object,and the warehouse management is analyzed.Through quantitative methods to the analysis of the warehouse business volume and turnover rate,and found that the existence of the company warehouse operation efficiency is low,the storage area,the unreasonable use of the integrated storage situation of poor management combined with qualitative analysis,and the causes of these problems mainly by the comprehensive warehouse layout is not reasonable,the warehouse storage arrangements are not reasonable performance evaluation and incentive measures are not perfect,on-site operations management.Through in-depth analysis of the phenomenon and causes,it is found that if we adopt scientific research methods,we can solve the existing problems of warehouse management in K company from the aspects of layout planning,location planning and comprehensive warehousing management.Through analysis and comparison and selection,using the SLP method and the relative position of each functional area of the warehouse area to make reasonable adjustment and arrangement,and the use of EIQ combined with ABC method to arrange the warehouse storage,and management of the implementation of 5S on the job site,to improve the evaluation index system and other aspects.Finally,the optimization results are evaluated in the K company warehouse is optimized through the above method,warehouse outbound process shorten 28.6%,operation time is shortened by 37.6%,the average monthly turnover rate of the goods in the warehouse will be increased by about 19%,means that the overall working efficiency of the warehouse space,improve the utilization rate,and the formation of the safe and orderly production environment,so as to improve the core competitiveness of enterprises fundamentally.
