Chengde Power Supply Company Warehousing And Distribution Study

With the rapid and sustainable growth of Chinese economy, State Grid Corporation of China, as the large-scale state-owned enterprise in China and one of the global top 500, undertakes the important task of grid construction, production and operation. Material resources are its core resources. When the grid scale expands continuously and the development quality increases steadily, more and more attention has been paid to rational flowing of "materials" from the perspective of sustainable development of both national economy and people’s livelihood.Warehousing and distribution is one of the important links in the modern logistics system. How to plan the warehousing & distribution network rationally, optimize allocation of the warehousing & distribution materials, promote the warehousing & distribution efficiency, reduce the warehousing & distribution cost, and fundamentally promote the logistics management level are the problems to be faced and settled by regional power supply companies under the State Grid.Based on adequate survey of the current warehousing & distribution management conditions of Chengde Power Supply companies, this paper has made a general plan on how to construct a reasonably-structured, efficient and reliable modern warehousing & distribution by them. With the case of Chengde Power Supply Company, the company’s warehousing & distribution management has been analyzed empirically and specifically, by taking in consideration its actual conditions, relying on the modern logistics management concept, applying the modern logistics technology, integrating warehousing resources at all levels, optimizing the warehousing & distribution network layout, promoting the warehousing & distribution standardization and information construction, increasing the materials distribution response & security ability, establishing the scientific performance evaluation & management, and so on. Through the empirical analysis, the company is able to establish the scientific & modern warehousing & distribution, promote the resources utilization efficiency, and meet the needs for grid construction and production & operation materials supply.In this paper, we study shows that the power supply company intensive management of materials shall establish on the basis of the whole supply chain management.Efficient warehousing and distribution management system, is the important measures for lowering the operating costs for the power supplies.It has played a central role in the material intensive management.
