Study On The Influencing Factors Of Tourism Industry Efficiency In Sichuan Province

In 2016,the total tourism income of Sichuan province amounted to 770.55 billion yuan,which grew by 24.1% over the previous year,while the whole province's tourism investment amounted to 337.1 billion yuan.In addition,the tourist income of Chengdu Plain core tourist area reaches 389.393 billion yuan,and the total income of Sichuan Northwest Tourist zone is 39.307 billion yuan,only one-tenth of Chengdu Plain Core zone,there are obvious regional differences in the development of tourism industry in the province.In order to quicken the "511" Development strategy of "Thirteen-Five" tourism development plan of Sichuan province and promote the balanced and coordinated development of tourism industry in the five major tourist regions,it is urgent to analyze the efficiency of tourism industry and its influencing factors.This paper takes the five major tourist areas identified in "Thirteen-Five" tourism development plan of Sichuan province as the angle of view,uses the relative index data of 21 cities of five major tourist regions in Sichuan province,and analyses the efficiency of tourism ind ustry through the super efficiency DEA method,and on the basis of efficiency,the factors influencing the efficiency of tourism industry in Sichuan province are judged by the panel data model.The empirical results show that:(1)The overall efficiency of tourism industry in Sichuan province is on the rise,there is a slight fluctuation phenomenon of "descending and Ascending";(2)There are significant differences in the efficiency of tourism industry in five major tourist regions of Sichuan Province;(3)Regional economic development level,fixed assets investment,traffic location conditions,tourism The industrial structure and labor structure have a significant impact on the efficiency of tourism industry in Sichuan province,in which the level of regional economic development,traffic location conditions and industrial structure are positively affected,while the fixed assets investment,tourism resources endowment and labor structure have negative influence.Based on the above conclusions,in order to promote the five major tourist areas in Sichuan province to reach the goal of industrial equilibrium development during the "Thirteen-Five" Tourism development Plan,the policy suggestions are as follows:(1)Strengthening industrial consciousness to promote the structure optimization of regional tourism industry;(2)Rational distribution of investment in construction,Take advantage of tourism to help reduce the gap between regional development;(3)Speeding up the construction and sharing of transportation infrastructure in neighboring areas,promoting the coordinated development of regional related industries;(4)Perfecting the mechanism of personnel training and continuously improving the soft power of tourism industry development.
