With the rapid development of our society,tourism is becoming one of the most surging,with highly relevance and comprehensive industry around the world. Since reform andopening,tourism, as an individual manufacturing department,has been developed rapidly, andhas become a vital composition of regional economy, which also played an important role inthe national economic systems. And with the government is paying more and more attentionon the culture industries in recent years,develop the creative tourism in China,its shape hasbecome a new tourism development model. Under the circumstances, we are studying therelationships between tourism and regional economy growth, discuss the development ofcreative tourism, which will be not only beneficial for our tourism and is helpful for makingdecisions on creative tourism, but also helpful for adjusting structures and speeding upregional economy.As a big touristic province in China, Sichuan is filled up with tremendous touristicresources, so I take the example of Sichuan Province to research the relationship betweentourism industry and regional economic growth, using the methods of theoretical study andexperimental analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis, at the same time, this paper alsouse the SWOT method to analyze the strengths and weakness of the development of Sichuan’screative tourism.This paper first makes a systematical description of creative tourism and the relationshipbetween the tourism and the development of tourism industry at home and abroad, and on thisbasis, this paper makes a systematic analysis of the tourism industry to regional economicgrowth, then from the perspective of reality, this paper expounds the development of tourismindustry in Sichuan province, analyzes the main problems of the current tourism. Then thispaper uses the method of SWOT to analysis the present situation and disadvantages ofSichuan’s creative tourism. On this basis, this paper use Unit root test, Granger causality testmethod to analysis the relationship between the tourism and regional economy in Sichuanprovince. At the end of the paper, this paper uses VAR model, impulse analysis and varianceanalysis to further examine the relationship between tourism and regional economic growth in Sichuan province.On the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, this paper have followingconclusions: The first one is through the sequence diagram and first and second orderdifference sequence diagram, we can see that the two variables of time sequence diagrams forGDP and Sichuan’s total tourism income, as well as the first order difference sequencediagram is not smooth, but for the second order difference is smooth, suggests that there is acertain relationship between them. The second one is that the Granger causality test showsthat Sichuan tourism revenues and GDP exists a one-way Granger causality. The third one isthat from the impulse response graph, we can see that GDP to tourism income, tourismincome to GDP have made a positive response. |
