Retail business of commercial banks has the characteristics of frequent trading,high growth,high yield and low risk,convenience and relevance.As early as 1980 s,commercial banks in the United States and other developed countries have established the goal of the development of retail business and made remarkable achievements.In recent years,many domestic commercial banks have proposed to develop retail business under the background of the rapid growth in household wealth,the adjustment of economic policies,foreign banks impact and capital market rapid development,Firstly,This paper summarizes the related theory of the retail business of banks;Then the paper analysis the development characteristics of development,combing the development strategy of retail business and retail business about Minsheng Bank Huaian branch.In order to make more comprehensive and in-depth analysis the internal conditions and external environment,this paper applies the SWOT tool to analysis its advantage,weaknesses,opportunities and threats a full range;Finally,based on the retail business success experience of domestic and foreign bank,this paper proposes the brand strategy,product innovation strategy,the the risk control strategy,customer development strategy for the Huaian branch.In order to implement the new strategies,the paper put forward the organization structure and talent team construction,customer relationship management,product competitiveness,construction of business channels.
