With the development of global financial services and deeply, as one of the importantpillars of the business of commercial bank retail business, rapidly enhance in the commercialbank’s ability to create value, the retail business has become an increasingly important sourceof profit for the development of commercial banks. However, how to maintain the sustainabledevelopment of commercial banks in the retail business momentum? This is a worthy ofcurrent scholars thought, explores the practical problems. In this context, it is very necessaryand important for the innovation of retail business. According to the historical data of recentyears of international, domestic commercial banks in the retail business, we can see that thegap between the very rich and the poor. This had caused the attention of industry of ourcountry. After the study of theory and Practice for a period of time, the industry graduallyrealized that only rely on the commercial banks in the retail business transformation andinnovation, to promote the commercial bank’s core competitiveness and creativity to improveprofits.Based on the definition of the concept of "the retail business of commercial banks" and"retail business innovation of commercial banks", theoretical basis for the theoreticalbackground and innovation of the retail business of commercial banks based on the. At thesame time, the current situation of the development of the retail business of commercial banksin China are analyzed, the existing development strategy, market positioning is not clear, thesame marketing channel construction is lack of reasonable planning problem, and madeanalysis on its reason. The above analysis based on the present status, further summarizes thecontent and principle of the retail business innovation of commercial banks, the innovationmainly includes: system innovation, product innovation, service innovation. In addition tocarry out innovation activities, in order to meet the high performance, compliance, scientificrequirements, should follow the operation, management mode and service innovation tomatch, covering the cost and risk of return five principles. These will help commercial banksin the retail business practice better "weaknesses", transformation and innovation.The highlights of the article is, not only the retail business of commercial bank accordingto the existing problems, put forward eight essential ability of retail banking businesstransformation winning future from the strategic level; also should be made to increaseproduct innovation, the successful implementation of transformation, retail outlets,optimization of customer relationship management and other aspects of the proposal from the tactical level on the retail business the commercial bank innovation; finally, prospectiveanalysis of the trend of the future society which brings to the commercial banks in the retailbusiness opportunities, and how to grasp these opportunities, the implementation of"transition to large retail" formulated specific strategy.
