The main purpose of this research is to integrate a wider spectrum of understanding among the phenomenon highlighted in this research.First,assumptions are made relating to the variables.Then a conceptual framework based on a qualitative method is established to show the relationship between goal orientation,knowledge hiding,trust,and innovative work behavior.The methodology utilized in this paper is precisely the questionnaire survey method.An analysis of the research findings was done using Pearson's correlation method and the regression method.The results indicate performance goal orientation is negatively related to knowledge hiding whereas learning goal orientation is positively related to knowledge hiding.Additionally the research findings show that learning goal orientation is negatively related to innovative work behavior and performance goal orientation is positively related to innovative work behavior.Research findings continue to indicate that knowledge hiding mediates innovativework behavior and goal orientation and trust moderates knowledge hiding and goal orientation significantly.These research findings support research done by previous researchers and continue to challenge future researchers to widen the scope of their research in knowledge and innovation studies.
