With the improvement of technology and the development of economic,all kinds of new electronic products come out every day.Also the competitions between each other in the electronics industry are becoming more and more fiercely.The situation of ODM(Original Design Manufacture),with poor profit space,is much worse.In order to survive and increase their competitiveness,ODMs need to introduce new techniques,equipment and management methods constantly.When ODMs get a new project of customer,they need to deliver the satisfied products to customer as fast as they can,under the limited resources.Then they need to get the mass orders,to get the corresponding profits,and to increase competitiveness in the industry.However,the traditional project schedule management methods only consider the logical relationship between the project tasks,without resource.So,they have some limitations.This paper sums up the research status of project schedule management at home and abroad,and introduces main theories and methods of project schedule management.Critical chain method,considering the project resource constraints,is emphatically analyzed.Then,this paper investigates the schedule status of all-in-one computer new product introduction project,and analyses the reason for the schedule delay by fishbone diagram.Also,this paper identifies the risk of the project schedule by the method of brainstorming and builds the project risk identification table.Next,this paper mainly studies the application situation of critical chain method in all-in-one computer new product introduction project schedule management.Using critical chain method to verify the logical relationship between the project tasks,consider project resources,reduce the safety time,reedit the project plan,and using buffer management method to control the project schedule.Determine the status of project schedule,and whether need to take measures by comparing the completion rate of project task on the critical chain and consumption ratio of project buffer.Finally,through all-in-one computer new product introduction D project of company case validation,the project moved into mass production in advance by using critical chain to manage project schedule.It is proved that critical chain method applied to all-in-one computer new product introduction project of company is effective.It also provides a reference for subsequent project management of company.
