With rapid development of globe economy,competitive situation of marketing environment becomes more and more tough.In order to stay competitive enterprise needs to continual apply advanced management thinking and technology to realize efficiencies and cost reductions.Simultaneously more and more companies attain competitive advantages by making their organizational structure more flexible and elastic.Financial shared service is a continuous process of standardization,professionalization,informatization and intellectualized improvement.The concepts of shared service attained continuous development since it entered into China in the early 2000,and gains a wide range of population and positive promotion between Chinese enterprises.As one of supply chain unicorn company in domestic internet industry,C Company provides comprehensive supply chain service to parent Group and related parties.With continuous development of new business,financial department management decided to make organizational change of billing center to become financial shared service center to proper fit the need of business development.FSSC centralizes transaction-based activities of accounts payable,accounts receivable,and financial accounting.With the application of centralized managerial mode,financial billing business process continual to attain improvement to be more standard,function division of labor becomes more professional,and release the vision to become a strong billing middle ground in financial department.In this thesis the author attempts to make a case study on business process management of financial shared service center of C Company.The paper first introduces the background,organizational structure and present operation situation of FSSC,then applies concepts of shared service and business process management,utilize value stream mapping tool – process activity mapping(value added analysis),and Cause and effect analysis to analyze the current situation and problems exist in three core business process management and process implementation on AP process,AR process,and pricing management process,the key finding includes low efficiency on communication;lack of visualization on workflow management;lack of effective monitoring mechanism on process management;lack of standardization on pricing model and elementary master data;lack of professional project management within teams;and lack of effective technical support on monitoring accuracy verification.Finally,the author proposes recommendation of solution on process management improvement for FSSC of C Company which includes enhance information technology and system integration capability;improve business process monitoring;Empower staffs and improve people management;redesign and redefinition on functions and obligation;and improve knowledge management.
