Research On Data Management Capability Maturity Assessment Based On G Commercial Bank Data Governance Project

Data is the interaction point between the development of banking business and the development of information technology.it not only reflects the actual status of banking business in a timely and accurate manner,but also is the source of bank's information technology innovation.In the face of the impact of Internet finance and the acceleration of marketization of interest rates,data assets have gradually become more and more important factors of production in modern banks.How to manage the data and tap the value of data assets has become one of the important foundation for accelerating business innovation and improving the level of refined management and scientific decision-making in the banking industry.Data governance capability has also become an important part of the core competitiveness of modern banks.In the meantime,in order to effectively prevent financial risks,the banking industry is continuously strengthening the identification,evaluation and early warning of risks.On May 21,2018,China Banking Regulatory Commission(CBRC)issued the "Guidelines on Data Governance of Banking Financial Institutions"(hereinafter referred to as the "Guidelines"),The Guideline pointed out the direction of data management for banking financial institutions and put forward the requirements of supervision and management.Under development of the industry and the requirements of supervision,banks need to Research on Data Management Capability Maturity Assessment and clarify the development direction of follow-up bank data governance system construction.The subject is to be based on the Data Management Capability Maturity Assessment Model(GB/T 36073-2018),and to explore the expert opinion method,the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation(FCE)method and other technical means to help the G of commercial banks to evaluate and analyze the data management capability maturity.It is estimated that G commercial banks attributing it to the corresponding level of maturity of data management and identifying weaknesses,pointing out where it should improve,and thereby improving its weakness,eventually raising its data management capability maturity level.On the other hand,through the evaluation of the maturity of data management capability of G commercial banks,the project will be evaluated in the project from the project side,the current weak links of the project will be clarified,and the strategy for the later project development will be given.At the same time,through the comparison of the pre-project evaluation and the evaluation in the project,the results obtained during the project development process and the differences with the peer practice and best practices are clarified,and the data reference basis for the subsequent post-project evaluation is provided.
