Since the reform and opening up,the national economy has experienced rapid growth,and the private economy has become a very dynamic component,and it has also achieved considerable development.A group of outstanding private enterprises represented by BYD,Midea Group and Huawei stand out in the fierce market competition,and realize the value of the enterprise itself,but also promote the development of the national economy and the improvement of the national manufacturing capacity.Just as the private economy developed at a rapid pace,private enterprises gradually entered the transition period of leaders.The founders of private enterprises that have been in business since the 1980 s and 1990 s are now many years old,and enterprises face the real needs of leadership change.The importance of leadership to the development of enterprises is self-evident.The smooth inheritance of leadership is a major event affecting the future development of enterprises.How to design an appropriate private enterprise leadership inheritance plan to achieve a smooth transition of private enterprise management is a problem that many private enterprises are currently facing.Faced with this problem,the founders of private enterprises have their own choices.Among them,some private enterprise founders chose to pass on leadership to their own professional managers.The company continues to conduct business with professional managers who have been trained by the company for many years.The founder family only participates in the decision-making of major issues of the company.What is the effect of such a model,is it worth more private enterprises to follow suit? Based on this,this paper selects the American group that has realized the inheritance of leadership as the research object.This paper divides the four parts of the introduction,case description,case analysis and case revelation to carry out case study.The first part elaborates the research background and significance of this paper,research ideas and methods,and literature review at home and abroad.The second part introduces the business layout and industry environment of the case company,and reviews the process of the leadership successor.The third part analyzes the reaction of the capital market to the inheritance of the case company's leadership and the continuity of the business after the completion of the inheritance,and finds out which internal mechanisms have contributed to the smooth transfer of leadership.The fourth part,based on the above analysis,sums up the merits of the group's leadership inheritance in the United States,which is worthy of reference from other private enterprises,and the shortcomings in the case of the leadership of the US group.I hope other companies can avoid it.Through case studies,it was found that the leadership of Midea Group achieved a smooth inheritance.By improving corporate governance,building a professional manager training system and implementing effective incentives,Midea Group has better motivated and supervised its successors,coordinated the interests of former and former leaders,and made the He Xiangjian family enjoy the company's income rights.And the decision-making power of major issues,Fang Hongbo's overall leadership of the company's operating model has been able to run smoothly.
