Nowadays,the world is an era of rapid development of information technology.ERP system is widely used by enterprises with the advantages of informatization,digitalization and integration.Intense market competition and the survival of financial crisis,coupled with their structural contradictions,China's SMEs are generally facing various challenges,and must constantly improve their competitiveness to solve the dilemma.Grass-roots employees are the important foundation of enterprise development,and the realization of efficient talent management is the driving force of enterprise development.The application of ERP system has brought remarkable economic benefits to enterprises.RD company has formed departments and grass-roots staff post settings that adapt to ERP system,which fully reflects the close combination of the workflow of ERP system and staff post functions.However,the existing performance appraisal system of grass-roots staff can not adapt to the working status of ERP system environment.This paper mainly aims at the Department with ERP system as the work carrier,and constructs the performance appraisal system of grass-roots employees of this department,aiming at improving the performance appraisal level of grass-roots employees of enterprises by means of information platform,and improving the staff management level within enterprises,so as to strengthen the core competitiveness of enterprises.Firstly,this paper summarizes the relevant research situation at home and abroad,defines the related concepts of ERP and performance appraisal,elaborates the performance appraisal methods involved in this study,and analyses the impact of ERP system on performance appraisal.Secondly,the status and problems of performance appraisal of grass-roots employees in RD company are investigated and analyzed.Based on the actual situation of ERP application,a set of performance appraisal system for grass-roots employees in ERP system environment is constructed by using scientific methods.Finally,using the ERP system data of RD company and the performance evaluation method designed,the performance of some grass-roots employees is evaluated,which fully verifies the scientific feasibility of the system,and puts forward the countermeasures and related measures to improve the system.This paper combines the methods of literature research,field investigation,quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis as well as system analysis.Based on the theory of ERP system application and performance appraisal,and closely combines the current situation and characteristics of RD company,the final conclusions are scientific and practical,which can provide reference for other similar enterprises.
