Retail business are developing by leaps and bounds,as Qinhuangdao local representative of a company,XL supermarket chain(hereinafter referred to as XL)scope of work and positions are complicated and various,the stuff in the different posts contribute their efforts for the enterprise's development,and create significant value.Employee performance assessment is not only the important basis for the salary,but also the chance to supervise the process of a project.It can also encourage managers and employees to work together to design good performance optimization,and help to combine the development of the enterprise with employee's career planning.The grass-roots staff of XL as the research object of this article,make full use of performance management and performance evaluation related theories and skills,give a deep insight into the company to the defects of grass-roots staff performance appraisal system,and also make the corresponding optimization design.First of all,carrying out the methods of field visits,status analysis and questionnaire to make the analysis of some issues around the imperfection of system appraisal of employee performance,deficiency of effective evaluation and improvement,and the limitation of the feedback of performance results application.Secondly,using the performance optimization designing idea and according to the process systematization principle and different positions sets the performance target.Moreover,combining the characteristics of the company and the problems found,the general idea of performance optimization is established.The difficulties and the key points of the implementation of the scheme are analyzed;the implementation steps and the specific content of the optimization are introduced in detail.Finally,the paper has put forward the process of performance optimization,management and safeguard measures to solve the imperfection problem of XL employee performance appraisal system.Enhance the staff performance appraisal to enterprise strategic level and improve the competitiveness of the enterprise through establishing effective strategic performance appraisal system.
