China used to be the country with the largest number of poor people in the world.Guided by the policy of "targeted poverty alleviation",the party and government strive to eliminate the last absolute poor population under the current standard by 2020.But in the end of the rural poor population showed the characteristics of the deep poverty, high strength brought great difficulties to the crucial task for poverty alleviation, and the internal development imbalance caused by large relative poverty population problem also gradually by the attention of people,at the same time, the development of people's comprehensive quality and the requirements of the comprehensive benefits will also bring new challenges to poverty alleviation work.In this context, the research on the relative poverty of income in rural areas of China and the extended multidimensional poverty research will not only have a clear guidance for the precision poverty alleviation work, but also have important forward-looking significance for the relative poverty after the elimination of absolute poverty in China. This paper starts from the practical problems, combines the related facts and data, uses the suitable model and the method, carries on the thorough research to our country countryside relative poverty question.Firstly, the status quo and characteristics of rural poverty in China are sorted out. This part is mainly based on descriptive analysis of relevant facts and macro data.Secondly,on this basis,single-dimensional and multi-dimensional empirical analysis was conducted based on CHNS micro survey data.(1)measure and compare the relative poverty of rural areas in east, central and west China from the perspective of income.Specifically, the gini coefficient model and the poverty degree model based on the gini coefficient are used to measure and compare the inequality degree of income distribution and relative poverty degree of income of rural families in east, central and west China.(2)based on man's all-round development and the comprehensive benefits of ascension, single dimension point of view of their income to income, education, health, life and assets of multidimensional perspective, the specific use Alkire-Foster multidimensional poverty measure, respectively,on the eastern, central and western rural families of multidimensional poverty related indicators to measure and compare analysis. At first, this paper deals with the method of data mining and visualization research status quo of rural poverty and the hot explores,on the basis of literature analysis and theory, income dimension combines unequal income distribution and relative poverty measure, and will be income dimensions expand to more than one dimension,to our country rural relative poverty measure and the comparison. The research findings are as follows:(1)the speed of poverty reduction in rural China is slowing down, the poverty-stricken areas are concentrated, and the internal development is uneven.(2)the overall relative poverty situation in rural areas is not ideal, and the income distribution gap between rural families is obvious. The income distribution gap and the resulting relative poverty in the central region are the largest.(3)multidimensional poverty is prevalent in rural areas in China, but the incidence of extreme multidimensional poverty is very low.The incidence rate and index of multidimensional poverty are low in eastern regions, and relatively high in western and central regions, but the gap is not large.(4)education,health and income level are the three major factors causing multidimensional poverty in rural areas of China, while the contribution of living standard and family assets to multidimensional poverty of rural families is relatively low.(5)the weight selection method has a certain impact on the data results of the multidimensional poverty measurement, but has little impact on the evolution trend of the multidimensional poverty results with the multidimensional critical value and the horizontal comparison difference between regions.
