Rural tourism can broaden farmers' income-increasing channels,absorb rural surplus labor,and increase agricultural added value,which will play an important role in promoting rural revitalization.In addition,the development of rural tourism can adapt to modern people's pursuit of basic life such as returning to nature and advocating leisure.Yuanquan Town is affiliated to Boshan District,Zibo City,Shandong Province.It enjoys an advantageous geographical location and rich rural tourism resources.In recent years,Yuanquan Town has made full use of its resource advantages,actively implemented tourism-driven strategies,vigorously developed tourism,adjusted the development of organic kiwifruit industry,red cultural tourism,eco-tourism,urban construction and ecological agriculture structure,and promoted the rapid development of tourism in the town.To help the overall development of the source town economy.According to the current development of rural tourism in Yuanquan Town,whether the future tourism resources can be rationally developed and utilized,avoiding the development at the expense of destruction,and realizing the sustainable development of rural tourism resources is directly related to the rationality of local economic development,residents' income increase and resource utilization..Therefore,objective evaluation of rural tourism resources in Yuanquan Town is of great significance for better promoting the sustainable development of rural tourism resources in Yuanquan Town.This paper analyzes the concept,characteristics and development significance of rural tourism resources,and builds a comprehensive evaluation index system for sustainable development of rural tourism resources based on sustainable development theory,tourism life cycle theory and experience economic theory.This paper introduces the basic principles of sustainable development evaluation and the basic principles of index system construction,and carefully studies the evaluation index system of sustainable development of tourism resources at home and abroad,combined with the connotation and characteristics of rural tourism resources,selects evaluation indicators,index layer A total of 15 indicators are included,based on which the evaluation index system for the sustainable development level of rural tourism resources in Yuanquan Town is constructed.Based on the evaluation of the sustainable development level of rural tourism resources in Yuanquan Town,according to the scores of the comprehensive evaluation of the sustainable development of rural tourism resources in Yuanquan Town,it is found that the comprehensive score of the sustainable development level of rural tourism resources in Yuanquan Town is “good”,indicating that Yuanquan Town pays more attention to it.The development and utilization of rural tourism resources has achieved certain results in the sustainable development of rural tourism resources,but there are still some problems.Based on the research results,the paper puts forward the policy recommendations for the sustainable development of rural tourism resources in Yuanquan Town,including: the government takes the lead,enhances the management planning level;increases capital investment,promotes economic development;strengthens environmental protection work,promotes sustainable development;and promotes red culture,to play social value.
