With the deepening of economic globalization,enterprises are facing more and more competitive pressures.Under this background,the enterprise hopes to reduce the cost of rework and increase the benefit by improving the rate of testing the product once,so more and more enterprises seek to improve the test pass rate through Lean Six Sigma management.Chinese enterprises are constantly exploring the use of Lean Six Sigma management to solve similar problems,but the successful implementation is rare.Because the domestic research on Lean Six Sigma management is still mainly in the theoretical level,how to combine with the actual development of Chinese enterprises to form a set of Lean Six Sigma management methods conforming to the enterprise culture is a difficult problem for many enterprises.Based on the research on the related theories at home and abroad,this paper mainly focuses on the first inspection rate of the first inspection of the cruciate cooler of Smith company,and details the specific application of the Lean Six Sigma management tool DMAIC process in the product quality improvement.At the definition stage,the main products and related problems are identified,the improvement range and the project target are determined.In the measurement stage,the measurement system is confirmed to be reliable and effective,the SIPOC process and the production process of the product are identified.In the analysis stage,the effect of the failure mode analysis and the cause result analysis is used to determine the influence factors.And then using the two element ANOVA method and the screening DOE method to determine the significance of the influencing factors;in the improvement stage,the best factor parameters are obtained by quantizing the DOE experiment.At the same time,the lean management is used to optimize the production site in all directions;in the control stage,the effect of the project is confirmed,and then the perfect operation method document is made.To lay the foundation for continuous improvement.On the basis of the classic theory of Lean Six Sigma management,this paper carries out the specific application steps of Lean Six Sigma management tool DMAIC in product quality improvement,and achieves the expected goal.It has certain reference significance for the successful promotion and implementation of Lean Six Sigma Management in similar enterprises in China.
