Study On The Efficiency Characteristics And Influencing Factors Of Tourism Industry For Provinces Along The "Belt And Road"

Since the 21st century,the process of world economic globalization and regional economic integration is accelerating day by day.The "Belt and Road" policy is put forward that is in line with the trend of global economic development?the international multi polarization political structure and based on its national conditions for China.The "Belt and Road Policy" is a development strategy of mutual trust?integration and inclusiveness,creates a community of interests,destiny and responsibility together.This strategy is steadily advancing,it has brought unprecedented opportunities for the development of 18 provinces along the railway.Tourism is an economic industry with strong comprehensiveness,strong driving force and wide radiation.The "Belt and Road Policy" integrates regional tourism resources effectively,improved the interregional tourist atmosphere and sets off a wave of tourism boom.Therefore,the tourism development about The "Belt and Road" has become an important research topic in the academic world.As one of the hot spots of tourism academic research,tourism efficiency plays a great role to improve the efficiency and management level of tourism enterprises and promotes the sustainable development of tourism industry.Through combing the literature on the efficiency of tourism industry and the tourism development of the Belt and Road",we find that the academic circles have studied the efficiency of the "Belt and Road"tourism industry,but the multi-dimensional characteristics and influencing factors of tourism efficiency need to be further strengthened.By using the panel data from 2005 to 2016,taking the "index construction-efficiency measurement-feature analysis-influencing factor analysis" as the main line to measure the tourism efficiency characteristics and influencing factor for 18 provinces along the "Belt and Road".On the one hand,this study establishes an evaluation index system for the efficiency of tourism industry along the "Belt and Road" provinces,the DEA Correction Model and Mansquitt Index Model etc.are adopted to calculates and analyses the characteristics of tourism efficiency from five dimensions:general characteristics,contribution characteristics,time series characteristics,spatial characteristics and evolutionary characteristics.On the other hand,we build a model of the "Belt and Road" tourism industry efficiency factors,analyze the main factors that affect its tourism development,and finally draw the conclusion,and then put forward the proposal to enhance the efficiency of the "Belt and Road" tourism industryThe results show that:The overall efficiency?pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of the provinces along the "Belt and Road" are relatively low,the influence and restriction of pure technical efficiency on comprehensive efficiency is higher than that of scale efficiency.And the time series of the three major efficiency fluctuates greatly,spatial differentiation is obvious.The evolution of provincial efficiency presents three development modes:Stable Mode,Cyclic Mode and Sudden Change Mode.The main influencing factors of these tourism efficiency characteristics include five aspects:the level of economic development is the basic guarantee,the location transportation is the reliable support,the level of scientific and technological information is the powerful engine,the market potential is the important driving force,and the talent support is the core factor.Accordingly,the paper puts forward some countermeasures to improve the efficiency of tourism industry in 18 provinces in terms of transforming development mode of tourism economic?improving the transportation network?intensifying scientific and technological innovation?avoiding duplication of construction,paying attention to personnel training?and giving full play to government functions.
