According to the "2018 Hurun Wealth Report",the number of high-net-worth households has increased from 825,000 ten years ago to 2.01 million,and is expected to increase by about 50% to about 2.85 million in five years.The growth of high-net-worth individuals has given birth to a huge market for private banking in China.However,as the structure of private banking customers becomes more diverse and the investment concept becomes more mature,the needs of customers are becoming more and more complex,and customers' requirements for private business will be more stringent.In the face of new development opportunities and challenges,we chose the representative private bank center of China Merchants Bank A.Through research on its business development issues,it proposed to promote the development of A private banking center business.Based on the customer needs of A private banking center,the research mainly uses questionnaires,data analysis and case analysis methods.First,on the basis of understanding the development of private banking business of China Merchants Bank;further analyze the current situation of China Merchants Bank A private banking center,service methods,organizational structure,product system and customer stratification.Then,we will understand the customer needs of China Merchants Bank A Private Banking Center by means of questionnaires.Based on the analysis of customer needs and customer feedback,we found that China Merchants Bank A Private Banking Center has problems in terms of talents,services,products and business.The specific performance is as follows: I.Talents: lack of high-end talents,limited ability of some customer managers;Second,service: lack of professional services and low service efficiency;Third,product aspects: product homogeneity,product innovation is insufficient;Fourth,business aspects: The overseas business layout is relatively late,and the overseas business experience is relatively insufficient.The causes of the above problems in the A private banking center are analyzed.Finally,in view of the problems in business development,from the customer needsand A private banking center business development environment,the following four suggestions are proposed: First,strengthen high-end talent training,strengthen team professional ability;Second,strengthen customer service capabilities,build comprehensive Service platform;Third,increase product research and development,enrich product categories;Fourth,accelerate overseas distribution and enhance overseas business experience.The essence of private banking is customer orientation.The private bank center of China Merchants Bank A has always been customer-focused,and it is our business philosophy to wish you a long-term career.Based on the customer needs of A private banking center,analyzing the problems in its business development and proposing targeted recommendations are more in line with the business development nature of A private banking center.
