The Investment Environment And Equity Acquisition Method Of Chinese Enterprises In Belarus Under The Background Of The Belt And Road Initiative

In 2013,China and Belarus established a comprehensive strategic partnership,political mutual trust has been continuously enhanced,and economic relations have achieved remarkable results.China has become an important trading partner and source of investment for Belarus.The geographical position of Belarus is an important node for the extension of the "Silk Road Economic Belt" to Europe.Belarus is one of the fulcrum countries for the construction of the "Belt and Road".Belarus is also one of the first countries to sign a "One Belt,One Road" cooperation agreement with China.Belarusian President Lukashenko has emphasized:"We fully support the important ideas of the "Silk Road Economic Belt" and the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" proposed by China.White is willing to become an important pillar of the Chinese "One Belt,One Road" initiative."In May 2015,Chinese President Xi Jinping,accompanied by Belarusian President Lukashenko,inspected the China-Belarus Industrial Park and proposed "to make the park project a model of the Pearl of the Silk Road Economic Belt and a model for mutually beneficial cooperation.”The construction of "One Belt,One Road" in Belarus has location advantages,political foundation,economic foundation,favorable policy conditions and humanistic environment,but at the same time,the operational level may face some difficulties and risks.The key to success in the "Belt and Road" initiative in Belarus is to promote Belarus’s gradual improvement of the investment environment.However,the improvement of the investment environment in Belarus needs to go through a process,which is very uncertain for Chinese companies.Chinese-funded enterprises need to "go global" to seek market,resources and raw materials,while China-Belarus financial cooperation started late,and the cooperation field is limited to currency swaps.It is temporarily unable to meet the financial services needs of Chinese-funded enterprises in white projects.In addition,Zhongbai The limited exchange of humanities and the large cultural differences may also cause misunderstandings and even cooperation among Chinese companies in Belarusian investment contacts.This paper firstly discusses the investment environment of Chinese enterprises in Belarus from the aspects of institutional environment,legal environment and financial environment.Secondly,the case analysis of Chinese-Belarus joint venture BEBELEE(the holding company of Geely shares)shows that Chinese enterprises are The characteristics of the equity acquisition method in Belarus;finally,using the data of the equity acquisition of the Chinese enterprises along the Belt and Road,the typicality of the equity acquisition method of Geely in Belarus,proves that the equity acquisition method of BELGEE can become the acquisition of Chinese enterprises in Belarus.example.The research in this paper attempts to provide reference for promoting Chinese enterprises’ understanding and understanding of Belarus and the cooperation between China and Belarus within the framework of the "Belt and Road".
