Research On The Vendor Selection Method And Application Of Institute A

As global economic integrating fast and fast,the management mode which set production and product as main task is becoming far away from modern marketing competition,this old mode is being replaced by the new mode which is the supply chain management set customer as main point.The vendor who is upstream firm of the supply chain is more important.The vendor can affect the efficiency and quality and cost of purchasing,which can have close relationship with efficiency of supply chain.Under this status customer and vendor is not the buy-seller relationship any more.But they are strategic partners,they are strategic union,on this way enterprise have improved core competence.So on this way how to select good vendor who have potential power and make long-time cooperation relationship is the main topic for enterprises.This article sets the vendor selection of institute A as object of study.Firstly supply chain and supply chain management,vendor management,supplier partnership,the related theory of vendor selection are summarized.Then the method of vendor selection which institute A use now on the view of supply chain management is analyzed,and this article builds an evaluation index system under supply chain management.On this basis in order to cover the shortage of method now.This article presents an idea to use AHP and TOPSIS to evaluate and select vendor.Finally one case which is institute A source suppliers about material T is analyzed to verify that the method mentioned is valid and has actual value.
