Empirical Study On The Relationship Between Manufacturing Concentration And Economic Growth In Tianjin

Since the 1890s,under the driving force of economies of scale,some companies in major developed countries have emerged from the development of related enterprises in order to increase economic efficiency,reduce transaction costs and information costs,and enhance their own market competitiveness.Gathering phenomenon.Industrial agglomeration as a kind of geopolitical phenomenon means that in a certain upstream-downstream related industrial field,all kinds of related enterprises gather and distribute within a certain area,and eventually develop into an economic community with competitive ability and sustainable development capability.Academic research on industrial agglomeration shows that industrial agglomeration has a profound influence on the industrialization process.Therefore,we should grasp the appropriate method to optimize the layout of manufacturing industry.This paper takes Tianjin manufacturing industry agglomeration as the research object,and selects the relevant data of 8 indicators of 21 manufacturing industries in Tianjin from 2003 to 2015 respectively.First,it uses the location entropy index to calculate the industrial concentration of all manufacturing industries in Tianjin.It also made a trend graph of industrial agglomeration in various industries,classified various industries according to concentration degree,and introduced the general situation of Tianjin manufacturing concentration degree in terms of both qualitative and quantitative aspects.Secondly,empirical research was conducted on the relationship between Tianjin manufacturing and Tianjin economic development through Eviews7.0 software and SPSS statistical software.In order to ensure the reliability of the empirical results,the AD test and the Granger causality test were also conducted in the empirical process.Based on the above conclusions,it can be concluded that,from an overall perspective,The agglomeration of Tianjin's manufacturing industry can promote the steady development of Tianjin's economy.Promote the role,while the agglomeration of various industries and Tianjin's economic development has different degrees of promotion or attenuation.Finally,the article draws conclusions based on relevant theories and empirical studies of industrial agglomeration,and provides substantive opinions on Tianjin's manufacturing industry from the perspectives of technological innovation,optimization and upgrade of production capacity inputs,and resource allocation to traditional industries and emerging industries.In the future,Tianjin will continue to increase its investment in the manufacturing industry,expand the investment from the perspective of multi-lateral investment,and focus on the food manufacturing industry and several industries related to metals and petroleum;continue to develop high-end manufacturing,focusing on and developing advantages.Industries,transform and upgrade the traditional manufacturing industry,break through the traditional pattern,establish leading enterprises with local characteristics.
