| All along, economic studies have implied assumption of a homogeneous space of the abstract, making "space factor" in mainstream economics have not been given sufficient attention. But agglomeration of economic activity has become the most important geographical features. The Industrial agglomeration phenomenon in recent years show that, industrial agglomeration in its cost savings and knowledge spillovers significant advantage is increasingly clear, and more and more people pay attention to the resulting accumulation effect in promoting regional development and economic growth,In this paper, the study scope of the region locks in Sichuan Province. Through observing the industrial situation of economic growth, we know the manufacturing sector for economic growth in Sichuan Province have made great contributions, occupies a decisive status in Sichuan's economic growth. Firstly, this paper use Location Quotient to measure the degree of Sichuan manufacturing sub-sectors and sub-regional level of industrial clustering; secondly, respectively analysis the reasons of industrial clustering in different sectors and regions, thirdly, use the panel data model analysis the relationship between manufacturing industries and economic growth in Sichuan, the results showed that: most of the manufacturing industry in Sichuan Province does not exist industrial agglomeration, but the manufacturing industry as a whole tend to gather ever-increasing; only 10 areas in 21 areas in Sichuan Province exist industrial agglomeration, which are 10 regions in the economic circle almost around Chengdu Plain, a very unbalanced situation; Sichuan manufacturing industries promo te the province's economic growth differently, with high degree of manufacturing Industrial agglomerations are particularly significant contribution to the province's economic growth, then make policy recommendations to promote the development of targeted local manufacturing industries. |
