Research On Improvement Of KC Company's Direct Material Supplier Management

Nowadays,Economy globalization and Supply chain management is more and more popular.And the market competition turns from the company end into all around the whole supply chain.Enterprises tend to find more and more outside resources and supporting to win the competition.Supply chain,as an effective competition mode in market competition,has been accepted by many enterprises.Therefore,Supply chain management occupies an important position in the enterprise management.Moreover,supplier management is the key portion of the supply chain management.In the manufacturing enterprise,70%of the finish goods' cost comes from the supplierThe suppliers' performance controls the supply chain's and the manufacture's performance.Supply chain will not exist without suppliers.Supply chain management will be nonsense without supplier management.Supplier management is a generic term of many management tasks.It contains supplier verifying,developing,selecting,cooperating,controlling,etc.To apply supplier management could not only lower the total cost of the purchasing and operation,but also sustain the production line and enhance the company strength.This research paper tends to use kinds of methods including abundant research paper readings,project analyze,survey etc.,to investigate the KC company's direct material suppliers'management improvement.Using comprehensive scoring index,ABC classify method and project management theory,this paper raises proposals to improve KC company's supplier development,suppliers' categorization,suppliers' performance management and suppliers'relationship management.In the meantime,I put those proposals in practice.In fact,those applications made obvious improvement for the company.
