Research On Production Process Optimization Of Precision Casting In X Company

Production process optimization is an important way for engineering manufacturing enterprises to enhance their competitiveness.This thesis bases on the guidance theory of production process optimization and lean production,and X private foundry enterprise to analyze the problem of which its Reducer Housing product cannot be delivered on time.Starting from analysis of several aspects,such as technological process,production layout,production process and other on-site management problems,the causes of its capacity shortage are summarized in detail.The value stream map helps to identify and define non-value-added specific links in actual production,reduce unnecessary waste,improve the efficiency of employees and the overall production efficiency of enterprises.By using the method of drawing value stream map,the research collected data and observed at the production site to find out the bottleneck process which affects the production capacity,the non-value-added links in production layout,handling,waiting and storage,and the problems existing in the field management,and the source of waste.The lean production improvement method was then applied to optimize the production process by merging and simplifying the process,adjusting the production layout,strengthening the basic management of the production site,and improving the production efficiency of the precision castings rate within X Company through the implementation of the optimization scheme and promoting continuous improvement and strengthening the power of execution.Finally,by comparing the management status before and after the optimization of precision casting production process in X Company,the validity of the whole production process optimization scheme is proved,and some experiences and methods of precision casting production process management are summarized.The research result show that the optimization of precision casting production process based on lean production can help the precision casting enterprises to increase their daily production capacity and product delivery on time with the minimum increase of investment.
