Research On The Network Structure Of The Manufacturing Industry In The GMS Region Embedded In The Global Production Network

The global manufacturing network shows complex and diverse forms according to the resources of each country,the level of productivity and the scale of the economy.The position of a country’s manufacturing industry in the global manufacturing network is determined by its spatial structure.The Greater Mekong sub region(GMS)is the development of "The Belt and Road construction highlights,after deep integration,will become the new Asian manufacturing center.Although the Greater Mekong sub region countries manufacturing industry to increase the channels of exchanges and cooperation,participation and wider coverage,but its shortcomings still exist,such as weak industrial base,education level of labor,uneven uneven distribution of resources,resource utilization efficiency is not high,the market capacity is insufficient,the infrastructure is backward,factor flow capacity is not strong.In order to study the status of manufacturing industry in the global production network in GMS area,we should analyze its structure in the network and influence factors of embedded structure,so as to solve practical problems.The network structure of this paper uses the social network to study the manufacturing industry embedded in global production networks GMS region analysis,and to analyze the factors influencing the degree of embedding combined with Stata measurement software,finally using MATLAB software simulation to predict the future development trend of manufacturing industry in GMS.The conclusion shows that China,Vietnam and Thailand are significantly superior to Burma,Laos and Kampuchea in terms of national economic scale,import and export level and foreign investment.Openness in Laos,Kampuchea is good,Burma is poor;From manufacturing exports,imports of production of whole network density,network density is greater than the export import network density,also refers to the differences between countries in the network are frequently greater than the export import,export trade and closer economic ties;From the overall network structure,export production in 2012 the best network accessibility,imported production network in 2008 the best network accessibility;From the GMS position of the state in the network,the manufacturing industry of import and export in the national level and embedded GMS network has not changed,the core layer of Thailand,Vietnam,Chinese,edge layer for Burma,Laos,Kampuchea.And the individual network size ranking Thailand,Vietnam,Chinese ranking,Burma,Laos,Kampuchea has been ranked by;From the structural point of view,the export network subgroup in 2012,the overall poor network stability,and import network subgroup,in 2012 the overall network has good stability;Through the analysis of manufacturing multilayer the dynamic network,find out the related influencing factors.Finally,we predict the future trend of the single country and the whole manufacturing industry in the Greater Mekong sub region,and find that unless China and Burma’s manufacturing industry will continue to grow,Vietnam,Thailand,Laos and Kampuchea must meet certain conditions before they can promote the development of manufacturing industry.
