The Problem Of Increasing Farmers' Income In Guangdong Province Under The Background Of New Urbanization

In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,the Chinese economy has been maintaining rapid growth for a long period of time.With the advancement of the industrialization process,the development of new urbanization has become an important factor affecting the income level and income structure of farmers.Since ancient times,China has been a large agricultural country.The Three Rural Issues(agriculture,rural areas and farmers)is not only directly related to economic development and the national quality,but also related to social stability and the country's prosperity.Under such background,it is of great significance to study the impact of new urbanization on farmers' income and put forward corresponding countermeasures to promote the integration of urban and rural development,build a harmonious society,and achieve social stability.How to take advantage of the opportunity of new urbanization to increase farmers' income and solve the problem of limited farmers' income in the process of new urbanization becomes the core issue of this paper.This paper describes the new urbanization development and farmers' income status in Guangdong Province,analyzes the main ways to increase farmers' income promoted by new urbanization from the following six aspects: population urbanization,land urbanization,economic urbanization,public service urban planning,infrastructure urbanization,resource environment urbanization,explores the constraints of promoting farmers' income under the background of new urbanization,and take the new urbanization of Meixian District,Meizhou City,Guangdong Province as an example to conduct a case study.On this basis,policy proposes are made to promote farmers' income in Guangdong Province under the background of new urbanization.The study conclusion of this paper is: The new urbanization process is rapid in Guangdong,which promotes the flow of rural labor,accelerates land circulation andlarge-scale operation,facilitates the transformation and upgrading of economic structure,pushes forward the equalization of basic public services,and improves the rural fundamental infrastructure gradually,carries out strategies of intensive energy conservation and green urbanization in a bid to increase farmers' income;however,new urbanization has also been hampered in the course of increasing farmers' income by the low quality of the rural labor force,unbalanced industrial and regional structures,unequal basic urban-rural services,insufficient investment in rural infrastructures,and severe environmental pollution in rural areas.Therefore,in the process of new urbanization,in order to increase the income of farmers in Guangdong Province,it is necessary to cultivate new-type professional farmers,promote the balanced development of new urbanization and industrial regions,coordinate the equalization of basic urban and rural public services,strengthen the construction of rural infrastructures,and develop green agriculture and ecological agriculture.
