The Study Of Foreign Economic Cooperation Mode Under The "Belt And Road" Strategy

Since the implementation of the economic policy of reform and opening-up,all kinds of international economic cooperation of China,which includes foreign direct investment,international contracting,labour service cooperation and foreign aid etc.,has experienced rapid growth.From 2013,the "Silk Road Economic Belt" and the "the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road" initiated by China has been responded by more and more countries(regions)and the economic cooperation between China and "Belt and Road" connected countries(regions)has become closer and closer.The strategy of"Belt and Road" was proposed by China in the background that global economic recovery is becoming slow and several regional economic cooperation agreements was advocated by developed countries.The "Belt and Road" strategy will play an importance role in economic cooperation and mutual benefits between China and connected countries.Therefore,the study of economic cooperation under the "Belt and Road" strategy is bound to be a focused topic.This paper has summarized the theories and literatures concerned with "Belt and Road" strategy and economic cooperation i.e.comparative advantage,factor endowment and regional economics,which laid the theory foundation of this study.On the basis of definition of the "Belt and Road" and its economic principles,this paper retrospect the achievements of cooperation between China and connected countries since the "Belt and Road" was initiated.The official data was collected and summarized for analysis and thereby conclude the change,characteristic and trend of foreign trade,foreign investment,contracting and foreign aid of China along the "Belt and Road".Furthermore,this paper has studied 3 representative economic cooperation projects of Chinese enterprise under the "Belt and Road" strategy.From the conclusion mentioned above and the case analysis,this paper raised suggestions for the participants of "Belt and Road" economic cooperation.The participants shall study the market and bilateral policy of connected countries on the standing point of "Belt and Road" strategy and value of mutual benefits to discover project and financing opportunities;the participants shall integrate and create his own core advantage and make innovations on the mode of economic cooperation;the participants shall develop international vision and management ideas to increase their level of internationalization and global competitiveness.
