Research On Plumbing Product OEM Project Management Improvement Of S Corporation

P brand from S Corporation has over 100 years history in US plumbing market.The brand is famous for its stylish industrial design and great product quality.S Corporation takes charge product design and marketing but outsource the manufacture from OEM supplier.The thesis mainly studied the problems encountered by S corporation OEM project management team,which include project team member's responsibility was not clear,project was frequently delay and new product quality was not certain etc.The thesis analyzed causes of these problems,and designed the improvement plan.The improvement plan suggest to assign proper project manager,apply some effective project management tools,clarify customer CTQs and implement the engineering workbook,to regulate project design and analysis progress.The thesis also analyzed OEM and ODM's advantage and disadvantage during new project development.S corporation should select the proper project develop model based on customer type,order quantity,product market proposition,design complexity etc factors.At the end,the thesis evaluated the project execution result after implemented these improvement actions.Research methods include literature review,data collection and analysis,interview etc.The OEM project management and the way to select OEM and ODM develop model been discussed in the thesis,could be applied widely on corporations who are using the OEM project develop model to develop the new project.
