The Cross-media Narrative Research Of "Harry Potter"

Transmedia Storytelling is a new form of narrative born in the era of media integration.It emphasizes the text presentation in different media forms on different platforms,and makes the core text of transmedia storytelling richer while fully considering the audience's content experience needs in different media.The key to transmedia storytelling is to grasp the relationship between text and media,and give full play to the advantages of different media to effectively narrate text.Based on the harry potter across the transmedia storytelling system as the research object,analyses the transmedia storytelling in the era of classical narratology and the development of media mergence era background produced by the two major characteristics: textual and mediated,and summarized the background to realize transmedia storytelling of the three necessary conditions: digital technology,the audience needs and narrative text;The second is that of harry potter,to give you the case analysis of the "harry potter" in the process of from books to movies across both the book and film produced by the two media personality innovation,also there are two difficulties,as a result of the differences between the medium,and analyzes the story of the world,such as technology,audience psychology,media environment impact across media narrative factors of implementation;Finally,a brief comparison is made between Harry Potter and Relevant Chinese works with the embryonic form of cross-media narration.At present,there are few specific case studies on transmedia storytelling system in China,so I hope this paper will be helpful to the advancement of research in this field.
