In the production and processing industries of building materials,medicine,food,chemicals,metal smelting,livestock feed,etc.,it is often necessary to mix and formulate materials according to the formula.Manual weighing of materials is used in the traditional method of batching.This method has problems such as irregular weighing operation,inaccurate recording of weight information,inability to trace weighing information,and low weighing efficiency.In response to these problems,a liquid automatic batching monitoring system is designed based on the adhesive compounding process of a chemical building materials company.The system includes the host computer,OMRON CP1 H series PLC,METTLER-TOLEDO IND236 weighing instrument,TPC7062 TX touch screen,etc.The system realizes the monitoring and control of the automatic batching process of the adhesive;and the system can flexibly modify the formulation according to different production needs,and the weighing data of the material is stored in the Access database,which is convenient for the enterprise to query and trace the adhesive ingredient data.The main work of this topic includes:(1)Based on the production of liquid adhesive in a chemical building materials company in Qingdao,the process flow of the adhesive ingredients and the functional requirements of the batching system are analyzed,and the overall structure of the liquid automatic batching monitoring system is determined.(2)According to the overall structure of the liquid automatic batching monitoring system,the hardware part of the batching system is designed.The hardware design includes the basic unit selection of the PLC and the I/O address allocation of the control system,the selection of the host computer,the selection of the touch screen,and the selection of the weighing equipment.(3)The communication mode of liquid automatic batching monitoring system is designed,which realized RS-232 C communication between OMRON PLC and touch screen and weighing instrument,and Ethernet communication based on FINS protocol between Omron PLC and host computer.(4)The software program of liquid automatic batching monitoring system is designed.The software design consists of five parts: communication program design between hardware devices,control system program design,alarm program design,software design of host computer monitoring system based on Visual Basic 6.0,touch screen configuration interface design.Based on the communication program,the system completes the monitoring and control of the batching process,and realizes the management and the download progress of the material formula,as well as the recording and query of the batching data and other functions.After installation and debugging,the liquid automatic batching monitoring system has been applied in the liquid adhesive production workshop of a chemical building material company in Qingdao.The system has been running smoothly for about one year,which meets the production process requirements of the enterprise and solves the problems of monitoring the automatic batching process and tracing the batching data.
