The Design Of Image Display Terminal's Adjusting System Based On RS-232C And USB S Communication Interfaces

With the rapid development of display terminal technology and the ceaselessly advance of the quality request from most consumers, the effect of display terminal's image vision become one of the most important standards when consumers select and buy the display terminal. Every company who developed the display terminal also institutes its own standard of image vision effect for the requirement from market, but they often used other factories'panel to the same model for ensuring that the display terminal factory provide market request with enough amount. Sometimes in the process of the development, the image identifier's subjective test results often affect the quality of display unification, and make the same model in the market display the different color temperature. This phenomenon will influence the product quality and the corporation's reputation. So, we design the image adjust system of display terminal which base on the RS-232C and USB interface standards. This system has many advantages, and it will help the image identifier to adjust more easily.The image adjust system is composed of control and analysis system and data acquisition system. The control and analysis system is composed of sofeware which is designed by Visual Basic 6.0 development system, the install driver of test equipment and the program of data transmission. The function of the control and analysis system is collecting the data which from the equipment's testing, analysing them, choosing the best data which is according with the standard and giving it to the image identifier who will change the display terminal's software. The data acquisition system is composed of the test equipment which includes CA-210 and optics test instrument (CA-PU12), the communication line of USB or RS-232C and PC. CA-210 is used by every company who develop display terminal. In the system, it tests the data from display terminal and gives the data to the image identifier who confirms.The system uses the data acquisition system to collect the data from display terminal, and send the data to the control analysis system. The control analysis system will choose the best data which is according with the standard and give the image identifier to amend the software of display terminal. The testing proved that the system can normally work according to the requirement of design. It can apply to every company of display terminal.
