With the establishment of socialist marketing economy,money has back to the center of market and pursed by all people in market.Therefore,the "money worship"issued by Marx has returned to public.With the development and progress of internet technology,the consciousness of money worship is spreading in a divergent way.It affects all groups around society.As a part of social groups,the fans keeps growing,and money has become the vital method for supporting their idol.This paper mainly study the money worship behaviors of fans,as well as the the commercialization,spatialization and structuralization on the base of the political economy of communication.Besides,this paper explores the causes from social history,economic policy and communication.First,for commercialization,with the background of socialist marketing economy,idols not only produce commodities,but also become a kind of commodities themselves.The convenience of network and social medias promotes idol become a well-packaged commodity.Under the background of Participatory Culture,fans are obvious consumers as well as recessive supporter,switch makes it a complete confusion.Their emotional worship of idols covers their worship of money.The commercialization of internet strengthen the monitoring and classification of fans,it can push accurate contents according to fans' interests,which will enhance the stickiness of fans and deepen their fetish for idols;Second,at the spatialization level,social media works as a node,connects fans together as a group with a tremendous amount of people.On the one hand,it provides convenience for fans,on the other hand,it also causes conflict and competition between different fans groups;Third,at the structuralization level,money is regarded as the vital principal of class division among fans,and this cause issues like uneven distribution of resources,etc.Through discussion of fans' money worship behaviors under internet era,on the one hand,this paper study the change of fans,they are not only active participators,but also rule-followers;on the other hand,this paper lies on special examples,study the relationship between fans and social environment that concerns about the development of social medias and political economy.The paper includes five aspects:the introduction mainly about background,the object,the major issue,the current status of the political economy of communication and the fan's culture,the study significance;second part makes a brief introduction of related theoretical basises for further study;third part based on commercialization,spatialization,and structuralization theories,taking Wang Junkai's fans group as an example,exploring the manifestations of their money worship behavior;fourth part study the characteristics of their behavior;the fifth chapter from the perspective of Marx's theory of social and historical development,socialist market economy and media environment,in-depth analysis of the fans monetary worship behavior of the root and social background.
