The development of the Internet and digital technology has continuously and profoundly changed the production and lifestyle of society, and has also had a huge impact on the cultural industry and the communication system, which has led to the formation of new economic models and labor forms in the Internet economy. In the context of information capitalism, knowledge, information, and content have largely replaced material information and become a new kind of productivity. The production of such information and content is mostly free of charge and crowdsourced. The emergence of labor methods has led to the generation of unpaid digital laborers who use digital media platforms as a means of production and society and the family as factories, which is different from traditional factory employment forms.Different from the traditional types of labor, digital labor relies on the Internet and mobile terminals, and workers cover different educational levels and age levels, which has huge differences and extensiveness. They use mobile and portable electronic devices such as mobile phones and computers as production tools to produce text, pictures, videos and other non-material content products for digital capital anytime and anywhere. In other words, they are not formal workers employed by media capital. However, the personal information, shared knowledge, and content transmitted by these users are all freely captured by media capital as a source of surplus value. From the perspective of Marxist class theory, users of information capitalism and media platforms constitute a new class of exploitation and exploitation in the digital age.In today's media research, the tradition of emphasizing the analysis of communication content and neglecting the political and economic aspects still exists. We need to return to Marx's classic political economyto analyze the labor group in the information culture industry, especially for media users.Representative unemployed unpaid digital laborers, studying how their production and consumption activities are occupied and exploited by media capital.Based on this, this article starts from the theory of communication political economy, attempts to cut through the concept of "digital labor",and combines Marx's classic labor value theory to interpret the media use behavior of non-employed digital labor on the media platform being commoditized and labored the process of.I hope to clarify the relationship between the media, capital, and users, and explore how to prevent users from falling into the commoditization traps set by media capital in the future industrial development,so that the media can get rid of the tools used by capital.Nature, really become a booster of freedom of dissemination and user liberation.
