According to the 41th China Statistical Report on Internet Development,there are 772 million netizens in China and there are 40.74 million new netizens by December 2017.The Internet penetration rate is 55.8%,showing 2.6%increase than last year.The cellphone-centric intelligent devices will become the solid foundation of "Internet of Everything".It will create more potential values for mobile Internet industry with multiple service situations,rapid development of mobile terminal and extensive quantity expansion of mobile data.This number has increased 28.3 million people since the end of 2016.The proportion of Internet users going online by mobile phone has reached to 96.3%now from 95.1%by the end of 2016 and this number continues to grow.By December 2017,the users of online news in China are about 647 million,which have accounted for 83.8%in overall Internet users and the annual growth rate is 5.4%.Besides,the mobile netizen of online news reached about 620 million people that accounted for 82.3%of overall mobile netizens and the annual growth rate is 8.5%.News APP of network media has become the first choice for Internet users to get news and information.According to the 2017 China New Media Industry Panorama Research Report released by iiMedia Research,the number of We Media increased slowly.The constantly content generation has become the priority issue for them and 46.1%We Media people felt anxious about it.In the trend that network media signed a great number of We Media people,how to plan strategies of content generation would be a severe test for them.NetEase News APP,as a successful case of the transition from traditional Web Portal to mobile news APP,has a great research value.This thesis introduces the NetEase News APP as a whole,including the whole process of content generation of NetEase News APP,and analyses the strategy of content generation.Then trying to understand the motivation of these strategies and get new strategies of content generation for NetEase New APP and other network media.In contrast to traditional media,mobile news APP faces more severe challenges,including advertisement,fake headline,anomie content,misguided information,etc.It's because that there are editors in traditional media taking control of four processes,including collecting,writing,editing and commenting.The division of work could avoid these problems to a great extent,but the drawback is that the timeliness is worse than mobile news APP because the deviation and delay of the expression of information caused by verification for multiple times.Although mobile news APP's quality of news is worse than traditional media,the timeliness is stronger than traditional media.The solutions to balance quality and timeliness of Netease and other network media is also the topic that writer gave priority in this thesis.Compared with other references that focused on NetEase News in the age of web portal and the research of NetEase's editor function.This thesis provides some ideas of content generation strategy of NetEase from the perspective of editors' function and regulations and also gives suggestions about the development of mobile journalism.
