Research On The Fact-checking News Production Mechanism Of Tencent's Truthful Platform

In recent years,the prevalence of social media on the Internet has greatly enhanced the openness and mobility of information.The convenience of mobile tools motivates the public to participate in the production of news information,everyone can become a producer of news information.However,not everyone has professional news literacy,Some netizens basically do not care about verifying the reliability of information sources and information during the process of publishing and forwarding content,and ultimately lead to widespread dissemination of untrue information on the Internet.The authenticity of news is the basic requirement for news reporting,fact verification news as a procedure for reviewing and correcting,can help netizens identify the source of information and the authenticity of content in massive amounts of information.It is a process of "seeking truth".Over the past few years,research related to fact-checking news has gradually increased,but the article is highly homogenous,most of the articles remain on the study of foreign fact-checking news websites.There is relatively little research on domestic fact verification news.Therefore,this article takes Tencent's true platform as a research case,and uses case study method,in-depth interview method and literature data analysis method to explore the production mechanism of Tencent's true platform verification news.And we selected the facts verification news sample published on the platform from November 29,2017 to March 6,2018 for analysis,designed to present the characteristics of the production operation of the platform fact check news.Tencent's true platform is in the process of drawing on foreign fact-finding news websites,constantly add own ideas and put it into practice.These valuable practical experiences have certain practical significance for the other factual verification news websites in China in the future.In the course of the research,this article finds out some problems still existed in Tencent's true platform verification of news production mechanism.It also proposes reference strategies such as the integration of resources for factual verification news teams,the increase in diversification of fact-finding news topics,and the enhancement of interaction between platforms and netizens.
