In January 2018,the Ministry of Education of China issued the Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the new Curriculum Standard)which defined six core qualities of senior high school mathematics, consist of mathematical abstraction, logical reasoning, mathematical modeling, intuitive imagination, mathematical operation and data analysis[1].Among them, mathematical literacy is clearly defined as the literacy of students to solve mathematical problems in view of the algorithm on the basis of clear operation objects.Mathematical literacy is an important foundation for students to study in mathematics, and it is an important factor affecting students’mathematical ability. The premise of developing mathematical literacy of high school students is to determine the starting point,so it is particularly important to understand the current status of mathematical literacy of high school students. In this study,we tested the level of mathematical literacy of a senior high school student in a demonstration high school in LN province to understand the current state of mathematical literacy of senior high school students. The research contents of this article include:(1)Through the literature data method, combing and analyzing the collected data, understanding the research on mathematical operations and literacy levels of high school students,it is found that the research on the mathematical operation literacy levels of students is very important, but there is very little related research at this stage. Therefore,it is determined to further understand the current status of mathematical literacy through research.(2)The research was carried out through the test method. It was determined that high school students from a demonstration high school in LN province were selected as research objects. After developing test papers that examined four dimensions and three levels of mathematical literacy, they were used as test tools.,Use Microsoft Excel to enter and organize data, and use SPSS22.0 for statistical analysis of test results.(3)The main conclusions of this study are the current distribution of the students’mathematical literacy in four dimensions and three levels.Judging from the three vertical levels, the mathematical literacy level of most students is generally at level two.Judging from the four horizontal dimensions, the tested students can generally reach the A level on the first level. The knowledge and skills dimension, the thinking and expression dimension, the communication and reflection dimension have three dimensions, and the four levels are evenly distributed. No matter which dimension the students follow in order of level three from low to high, the change in the proportion of students shows a gradual decreasing trend, and the trend is very obvious, indicating that the students tested can generally only reach level D of level 3.Based on the conclusions, the problems in the formation and development of students’mathematical literacy are analyzed, which mainly include:the inability to determine the operation object in the comprehensive context, the inaccurate grasp of the algorithm and its application scope, and the inability to establish appropriate operations based on the characteristics of the problem The train of thought lacks the will to carry out calculations on mathematics.Based on this,I put forward targeted teaching suggestions on how to improve and cultivate the mathematical literacy of high school students, mainly including:paying attention to the connection with real life in teaching, helping students understand the rules of mathematical formulas in teaching, and consciously in teaching Strengthen the training of students, and consciously increase students’interest in teaching.
