In this era of rapid information growth,mathematics is widely used in real life.In order to adapt to the needs of social development and talent cultivation in the new era,the standard of mathematics course in high school(2017 edition),organized and compiled by the ministry of education,proposes the core quality of mathematics discipline,and takes mathematical modeling as one of the six core qualities of mathematics discipline in high school.Mathematical modeling is helpful for students to express the real world with mathematical language,discover and put forward mathematical problems,perceive the connection between mathematics and reality,learn to solve practical problems with mathematical models,enhance the sense of innovation and scientific spirit.This paper,guided by theory,summarizes and analyzes the existing research on mathematical modeling literacy at home and abroad,and clarifies the relevant connotation of mathematical modeling literacy.This paper understands modeling literacy from three dimensions: learning understanding,practicing and creating,classifies the modeling literacy into different levels at the same time,then uses the methods of questionnaire investigation and interview to understand the development levels of mathematical modeling literacy and the performance of modeling ability about high school students,and there are some related issues:Firstly,due to the pressure of teaching tasks and college entrance examination,some teachers attach importance to the calculation and neglect exploration the in daily teaching.Focus on the examination and neglect the;As a result,the cultivation of students' mathematical modeling literacy is neglected,so that most students do not know how to use mathematical knowledge to solve practical problems in life.Second,students perform well in observation and memory,generalization and understanding,and model calculation,especially in solving simple problems with specific data and conditions.However,in terms of describing mathematical laws,transforming mathematical problems,establishing mathematical models,comprehensively applying mathematical knowledge to solve complex practical problems and creating and transferring,there are some deficiencies,especially lack of awareness of innovation and spirit of exploration.In view of the above problems,this paper combines the analysis of textbooks,teachers and students to determine the relevant factors that affect the mathematical modeling literacy of high school students.In addition,this paper puts forward some teaching strategies for cultivating high school students' mathematical modelingliteracy.First,create appropriate problem situations to enhance students' mathematical ability.Second,carry out reasonable review and reflection to cultivate students' ability of creating and transferring.Thirdly,implement diversified process evaluation to promote students' cooperative exploration ability.At the same time,Combine the new curriculum standard idea with the teaching practice,then give the referential teaching case about function modeling.
